    Band is looking Howdy y’all! :-) We’re “Cactus for Breakfast” - a surf-inspired garage psych band from Berlin. We’re looking for a new drummer to join us, since our current drummer is leaving us (cause he’s sadly moving away for work). We play mostly originals, ranging from bluesy western songs, groovy tunes, softer ballads to more psychedelic and experimental songs. We’re blending influences from '60s/'70s surf and psychedelic rock (like The Doors and The Velvet Underground) with modern alternative indie sounds (The Nude Party, The Grogans, Sun Room). We have a 1,5 h setlist, have played more than 10 shows last year, have already recorded 2 EP’s and have lots of new songs to be released throughout 2025. We have shows booked for this year already (shows in Berlin, small festivals Germany-wide, a small UK tour, prob. an EP-release tour, etc.). We’re rehearsing at Rockhaus Berlin and rehearse min. 1-2 a week (usually Tuesday & Thursday evening, sometimes during the day on weekends). I moved to Berlin some months ago and after a short period of adjustment i have to make music again. My experience consists of playing in several bands and duo projects, just experimenting with sounds and techniques but also creating, rehearsing and performing music live. My last projects and Bands consisted of a queer - post punk, indie rock, sad sapphic, dream pop, psychedelic rock - band, performing our own songs (i sadly had to leave because of moving), an experimental duo where we dj live and play percussion (which is still on) and an indie cover band with friends based on jam sessions.
