My influences include The Cure, The Chameleons, Joy Division, New Order and similar sounds — dark, atmospheric, melodic and driven by strong basslines. I have plenty of live, studio and band experience and I’m looking for something serious enough to rehearse regularly, write original material, record and play shows. I’m not looking to simply recreate old songs. I want to create something of our own with a distinctive sound, atmosphere and identity. i play saxophone (soprano and tenor), with pedals too, and have been wanting to have a project where we write songs with structure but improvisation within - the goal is to rehearse weekly (e.g. monday evenings or thursday evenings), gig and record. jazz background (my level is intermediate, probably, with an ok understanding of theory, good with chords, scales, etc) i really like bands like portico quartet, but i am open to the use of different sounds, mixing electronic and acoustic. i like music to move forwards/progress, listen a lot to jazz, modern jazz, classical as well as rock (post-rock, indie, new wave, 80s music, electronic (dark wave)) i got a rehearsal space where we could jam, maybe have a couple of tracks to use as staring points - as a band forms, then everybody chips in. i also play guitar in another post-rock project (but that is totally separate - here my focus stays on saxophone and maybe help out with basic midi synths (i am more limited there)). write to me if this sounds like something u also really want. instrument, gender, gender identity, language, all in - let us play, write together, gig and record (ideally u have experience in these areas already). looking forward to hearing from you!
MusikerIn sucht Hey, I’m a singer/songwriter based around Potsdam and I’m looking for someone to make music with in person. I’m not looking for a paid producer, a session, or anything professional right now. I mean a genuine 0-budget collaboration where we can just make stuff, experiment, and improve together. You don’t have to be a crazy producer either — if you know your way around production, make beats, play around in a DAW, or just have musical ideas, that’s enough. I’m still learning myself, so I’m really not expecting someone to be perfect. I’d actually rather meet someone who’s also figuring things out and wants to grow together. Musically I’m mostly into The Weeknd, dark R&B, alternative R&B, melodic stuff, atmospheric sounds, that kind of thing. I’m open to other styles too. I mostly want something spontaneous where we can sit together, try ideas, sing over something, change things around and see what happens. I’m not trying to build some serious industry thing from day one. I just really want someone I’m comfortable making music with and who also enjoys creating. looking to start a forró group, with a focus on arrangement of classic songs and develop/write others to play live (live music has been, to me, always part of the magic of forró (and other folk music), where people from all walks of life gather to dance). i play soprano saxophone, have been working on covers from Luiz Gonzaga, Trio Nordestino, Dominguinhos, and a few others, including some instrumental songs like "Batuque Destemperado" e "Ovo". I could sing a bit and support with triangle too or light percussion. I have a little bit of a jazz background, am from brasil and play bossa and a bit of jazz too, lived however after 18 yo always elsewhere and now in Berlin since 2017. Let`s build a forró band with an accordeon player (?or rabeca), a soprano sax, percussionist and zabumba TO PLAY LIVE! For the band I do have a place to rehearse (Rockhaus) PS: for a few years i played in a duo with an accordeon player and we always wanted to expand, but sadly he left berlin and I focused then on other projects where I play rock guitar. Hat dann aber irgend wann nicht mehr so funktioniert. Es ist zwar eine Konstellation wie bei Royal Blood, wird aber härter werden. Ich suche DICH am Schlagzeug, der/die aus den Songideen mehr heraus kitzeln kann. Wenn du auch noch singen kannst oder dich textlich mit einbringen willst, umso besser. Viele Ideen sind schon in einfacher Form aufgenommen, aber haben noch keinen Gesang mit drauf. Dieser ist aber schon fast bei allen Songs da, nur nicht aufgenommen. Ich suche Dich, der/die Zeit und Hingabe hat, aus uns mehr heraus zu holen, als nur im Proberaum zu versauern. Junge Metalband in Aufbau sucht Drums. Wir 4 sind eine durchmischte Truppe(26-35j.) wir hätten gerne jemanden in ähnlichen alter ^^" Es spielen 2 Mädels und 2 Jungs in der Band.
