Guitarist & songwriter looking for people to make music with — dark alternative, shoegaze, dark folk

    RockJazzElectronicFolk / Acoustic

MusikerIn sucht I play guitar and have been writing my own songs for a couple of years now. Melancholic, dark, heavy on texture. Baritone Jazzmaster, E-Bow, tape, homemade noise boxes. Recording from home for now, but planning to get a long term studio space in 2027. What inspires me: Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle, Ethel Cain, My Bloody Valentine, Have A Nice Life, Sneaker Pimps, Quannic ... but I'm generally very interested in all sorts of genres. What I'm after is people to build something new with. My ideas MIGHT BE a starting point - but I'd love to end up somewhere I couldn't have reached on my own. Vocals and drums are the most obvious gaps, but I'd just as happily meet guitarists, synth players and producers. I put a lot of time into this and I take it seriously. What I'm not after is a packed gig calendar — this is about writing, recording and expressing something to the outside world. Neukölln, 26. Get in touch, we'll swap some music and see if it clicks. Jonas

Looking for my music people ♡

    RockPop

MusikerIn sucht Hiii ♡ ! I’m a female singer and songwriter, and I’d love to meet some people who are also into making music. 🖤 (I just started taking this kinda seriously so I still dont know what I`m doing ...) I’m mainly looking for people my age (around 20-28 years old) who play an instrument, produce, or just love making music. I’d even be down to start a band or just write songs together, brainstorm random ideas, or work on something bigger. Honestly, I’m pretty open and just wanna see what happens. My music is somewhere around alternative / dark / shoegaze / darkwave, with some alt-pop influences. I’m still figuring out my sound, so I’m not too picky about labels haha. I speak both German and English, so either is totally fine. If this sounds like you, feel free to message me! :) ♡

    Guitarist looking for punk band

    MetalPunkRockPop

MusikerIn sucht Hi, I'm Phil, 40, with 20+ years of experience in playing in punk or punk-adjacent bands (guitars/bass/vocals) and currently looking for a new band or people with whom to start something new (preferably punk/emo/skramz or related). I would further prefer to join bands with at least some FLINTA* persons and not yet another 'boy band' as I feel there are already way too many of those. Things I like: punk, emo, skramz, powerpop, bubblegrunge, post-rock, noise rock, math rock, shoegaze. Things I don't like: thrash, senseless shredding, hair metal, post-punk, 80s music and 80s revival, misogyny, poser and macho BS, sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, people who feel 'threatened' by feminism, patriarchy, gatekeeping. Here are some of my old bands/projects https://shitake.bandcamp.com/album/a-new-beginning https://aninterimsolution.bandcamp.com/album/we-are-beautiful-we-are-enough https://highenddenimrecords.bandcamp.com/album/six-pack I'm also into recording/mixing/producing. I'm vegan and neurodivergent (sorry, I tend to overshare). Best Phil

Bass guitar player looking for a band

    PunkRockPop

MusikerIn sucht Hi, I'm a 37yo male bass guitarist, looking for a project to contribute to. I'd be happy to play anything alt-rock, post-punk, shoegaze, emo, grunge, dream-pop, garage, psych, stoner, but also experiment with other genres! I'm listening to various music. My all-time inspirations are DIIV, Man I Trust, Turnstile, MBV, Idles, Title Fight, Wine Lips, Fontaines DC, Slowdive, Black Sabbath, Alex G, King Krule, Wet Leg, Her's, Birds in Row and more. I have my own gear, some experience in playing small shows and recording songs. I can design the artworks and do some photo/video work. I also play guitar and do a bit of home recording/production. I stand firmly against any forms of xenophobia, bigotry, misogyny, right-wing ideologies. I have a nine-to-five job, so looking for a casual, but dedicated band with regular rehearsals and occasional shows. Hit me up on whatsapp/telegram: +4915786436078

Indie/Alternative Rock band looking for Singer/Frontperson

    Rock

We’re a 4-piece band based in Berlin looking for a singer/front person with some experience to join us. We’ve been playing together for around 18 months and write our own stuff. We played a few gigs that went really well. Our sound is a mix of indie rock, alternative and shoegaze. We’re looking for someone who: • Has a good voice and their own style • Wants to contribute to the band and the songs • Is reliable and able to rehearse regularly • Is up for playing live and develop the band together with us We have our own rehearsal space in Berlin and want to take the next step with the right person. We can send you a rough demo of our songs so you can get a feel for the sort of stuff we do. If you’re interested, send us a message with a little about yourself and, if possible, a recording or video of you singing. Cheers Adam

Looking for bass player and singer

    Rock

Hey, we are a drummer and a guitar player and looking for a singer and a bass player to start a band. We have some early song ideas and a nice practice room in Berlin. Musically we are into things like early Death Cab, American Football, toe, Logh, Jenifever, Slowdive – so somewhere between indie rock, midwest emo, shoegaze, and post rock. But we are pretty open overall and see where it takes us. Beginner or advanced, both welcome – more important to us than technical skill is finding like-minded people who enjoy the creative process. Also, it would be great if we would have some gender diversity and not become a boys club. If this resonates with you just drop a message! English or German both fine :-)

We are 1 Drummer and 1 Guitarist/Vocal. We're influenced by electronic music, indie rock, shoegaze, post-punk, funk, dark wave, hardrock and what not. Our sound is soaked in effects ,so that the guitar and bass don't have their standard tone. Ideally you sing or would like to give it a go. Intermediate Bass skills level is great. Motivation and commitment to play on a regular basis, compose and record. We have songs and they need bass and some songs would sound great with a female vocal as main voice and you can redo lyrics if you want. -------------- Hello, I'm Giorgio and I live in Berlin since 8 years. Before I moved here I studied singing and drums and taught myself guitar and bass. I've been playing since I was 16 and had several amateur bands, but since I've been living here between studying and working, I've never found the time to get serious about music. In the meantime, I've continued to play guitar and bass and sing on my own. After all this time, however, I would love to play with someone again. My taste in music is very diverse and ranges from classic rock to new wave and shoegaze to various contemporary alternative music bands. In short, I am a very open person. Write me and let's play together! ÜBER: Email at florent.guitar.alt@outlook.com since I don´t have a premium account :p Hello, I´m looking to start or join a recently formed band as a guitar player. The style I play is a mix of alternative rock, indie rock and shoegaze. The bands that are currently inspiring me are: Mannequin pussy, Blondshell, Momma, Chokecherry, Slow pulp, Wisp, Deux visages, NewDad... My aim is to write songs, release self made records and play gigs in, and if the opportunity occurs, out of Berlin. About me: I´m a 30-year-old man, relatively new to the guitar, but I have years of experience as a bass player (live and recording). I also used to play saxophone as a kid (I've been meaning to start again) and I know my way around a synth. I also taught myself recording and mixing so that I can make us nice diy records. My style: I like to play chords and leads, and I like to blend quiet and heavy parts in one song. My approach to playing is to often let space for other instruments to shine so that the spotlight is shared between all. It's important to me that the other musicians I play with share this mindset My progress in German are slow so I prefer speaking English. If that sounds good to you, I´m happy to send you a few sketches of song ideas so that you get an idea of the style of music I make. Flo

Bassist looking for a band (also can play guitar and some drums)

    PunkRock

Hi there, I'm Oren! I'm looking to join a band. I play multiple instruments, but my first choice is to play bass. Second choice is guitar, and third is drums, since that's the instrument I've been playing for the least amount of time. As for genre, I'm honestly quite flexible if the music is good and the personality fit is good. But the types of music I'm mostly into at the moment are post-punk, indie, shoegaze, or other rock adjacent genres. If you want to hear an example of my music, I played the guitar, bass, drums and sang the vocals on my most recent EP https://on.soundcloud.com/gGSAKdzeA59qkZjlwl As a bonus, I'm also a confident sound engineer when it comes to recording and mixing, and am in the process of building out a new studio. Looking forward to hearing from you!
