Hello, I'm Thomas, I’m 31 and looking for people to play music with. I play guitar, but am also very interested in writing songs. I'm looking for someone who also plays guitar and sings (or just sings) to play some songs together and maybe write a few things. I’m interested in alternative folk and soft rock — think Big Thief, Elliott Smith, and similar vibes. Let me know if you’re interested! :) Kann auch Deutsch.

Hi! I'm a singer-songwriter living between Madrid and Berlin, planning to play live shows during the summer in Berlin. I’m looking for a cajón player—ideally someone with Latin-inspired rhythm—to join me for a few acoustic gigs in July and August. The style is intimate indie-folk with a rhythmic twist—somewhere between Nick Drake, Mojave 3, and Latin fusion. We’d start as a duo (guitar + cajón) for smaller shows, unplugged sets—but we also have a bass/keys player joining for some scaled-up sets, so the full sound has room to grow. Low-pressure, good vibes, transportable setup. Would love to meet up to jam and see how it feels. If you're interested (or know someone who might be), get in touch! Hi! I’m in my early 40s and have been learning and playing electric guitar for a few years now – mostly Blues, with a focus on improvisation. Looking for 1–2 musicians (no matter which instruments) for relaxed jam sessions – no band project, no plans to perform. Style: Blues, Rock, Folk. Feel free to get in touch! Hallo! Stil: Blues, Rock, Folk. Meldet Euch gerne.
Looking for guitar, bass and drums for an alternative folk project Hey there! My name's Paul. I'm a 27 year old singer and pianist living in Berlin (born and raised). So German or English are both fine! With English being the language of our lyrics. As the title suggests I'm envisioning an alternative folk band using film scoring of Thomas Newman as our starting point for our timbre and tonal foundation and Alt-J as a structural basis. So imagine soft sounds with dramatic peaks both in instrumentation and singing. I would love to organise a jam session! If you are a musician experienced in ethnic instruments or just generally interested in the project it would be awesome to link up and make some music! You can reach me on paul.fritzsch@gmail.com or IG @fritzschpaul. Have a nice day! Kind regards Paul
Hi I’m Juliette i’m 22 and looking to join an indie/ folk or punk band. My fave artists at the moment are adrianne lenker and haley heynderickx. I write quite a few my own songs and will be studying songwriting next year in Berlin. Anyways let me know, and I’d love to meet up and have a jam :) 🌟💃👑
Hey! We're a Berlin-based duo (drums and guitar/vocals, m, 30 & 43) playing anti-folkish Emo with excursions into heavier, distorted territories (think a touch of sludge and shoegaze). Lyric-centered (German lyrics so far), thematically on the darker side. Occasional screaming – often not the melodic kind. Generally: Expression before perfection. We’re looking for a kind, creative, and enthusiastic bassist. Gender and background don't matter – though it’d be nice _not_ to be an all-male band. FLINTA* folks warmly welcome! Here’s a raw rehearsal recording, just a one-take: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17GrQJycNcfqha9uPC6R1kzAvKyaqOzMi/view We’ve got songs written and ready to be arranged collaboratively. The plan is to play live, record, and do all the usual band stuff with heart and intent. Would love to hear from you – tell us a bit about yourself! Oh, and we released an album in 2023, though it’s quite different from the direction we’re heading now. Still, it gives a bit of context: https://open.spotify.com/track/4iVorEi5GyKDhUXGXrucxn?si=O9acb-pDRSKh95LwY4Srag&context=spotify%3Atrack%3A4iVorEi5GyKDhUXGXrucxn
Ready to join a band with regular rehearsals, I have a love for 50s/60s/70s American music, but I’m also open to making new music. Also down for playing bass and singing.
Hi, my name is Raluca and looking to join a band or any musical project. My voice fits with indie pop (Beach Bunny, beabadoobee) type of voice, but also love jazz, alternative and folk. I am also musically trained in piano, I play the ukulele and drums, as well :) Would be happy to jam with anyone interested.
Ausgestatteter Proberaum in Berlin-Stresow (S3, S9, Bus 130) vorhanden.

Band is looking Hi! We're a group of 6 musicians/singers meeting every couple of weeks playing folk/irish/celtic trad. We're currently accordion, violin, cello, guitars and vocals. It would be great if there are any other musicians out there that fancy joining for fairly informal jam sessions, esp. violin, concertina, flute, tin whistle/other wind, banjo, percussion. We play a mix of songs, and classic jigs/reels. We're mostly in our 30s and live around Kreuzberg/South/West Berlin. Open to all levels and ages. It's largely about getting together and having a nice time, with vague plans to organise a regular session slot in a bar/pub at some point. Cheers!

Band is looking I'm a singer-songwriter looking to form a band with an Indie/Folk sound, somewhere between The Front Bottoms and Elliott Smith, with other influences like Hovvdy, Pedro the Lion, and Christian Lee Hutson. I've got about 8 songs written and am ready to collaborate on arrangements to make these songs ours. If this sounds like your vibe, message me for demos. Let’s see if we click.
Hey! Guitar/vocals in Berlin. Looking for folks wanting to create something for fun with Agalloch, Altar of plagues, Oathbreaker influences. Cheers!
Hey, I am looking for someone/people to make music with. I am in my twenties, F-hain based, mostly make singer-songwriter/acoustic music - love soul, Rnb, and also folk. I am pretty versatile genre wise and would like to sing acoustic soul (open to any of the genres above as well) but with my limited guitar skills this was a little bit difficult so far. I write songs but also like to be creative singing cover songs. I do play guitar and piano but I feel like I would love some new input and other people who are more skillful instrumentally than I am. I have experience in working with other guitar players and have been taking vocal lessons on and off since I am ten years old. Sooo if all of these infos speak to you, feel free to reach out! :) I speak English, as well as German btw.

Hey, i'm a guitarplayer whose influences are john mayer, jimi hendrix, bros. Landreth. So in a rock blues funk folk kind of a mix. I'm looking for people to write and preform music with, i have been playing for a while and take lessons now to improve more. I only have played in a couple open mics accompanying a friend but i want to play way more and try my best at this. So if you are looking for a guitar player to join your project or you want to form a new one, send me a message with what you play and maybe a demo or something so i have an idea. Or if your a band send me a track or two and i can come prepared to a rehearsal.
Hey I'm an amateurish guitarist, singer who enjoys writing songs. Looking for collaborators to bring something new to live. My ideal is to quickly bang out songs that we don't really have to labor over but still consider a labor of love. I'm very happy with 4/4 and 3 Chords but can't stand corny lyrics (happy with silly nonsense though). For the purpose of finding bandmates I put some of ideas up here: https://softopenings.bandcamp.com/ I like to talk about band names a lot, but I also kinda feel like this is the perfect one. Don't want to get into a gigantic list of references here but wire, the unicorns, the microphones, mj landerman, bonnie prince billy and the pixies are some artists I'd consider influential for me. xoxo & hmu
Guitar player(m) would really love to join the existing music band or create the new one, by finding the people with the same vibe and interests to make some noise by doing fun, interesting and melodic stuff. I am currently playing in a folk rock band, and if you are interested I could share some of my examples on demand. I really like different types of music - mostly around rock, but it's not limited to. From the Indie Rock bands that I love - it's "Radiohead", "Oasis", "RHCP", "Yeah Yeah Yeahs", "Daughter" etc. From the other well known and different stuff I am passionate of ZZTop, Rolling Stones, Tool, Nirvana, Metallica, Within Temptation, A7X, Lacuna Coil, Linkin Park, Korn, Depeche Mode, IAMX etc. Btw, I am Ukrainian, 39, live in Berlin over 5 years (now in the middle of Wedding and P-Berg), have my own music gear (it's Fender Telecaster and Gibson SG and the nice minimum set of 6 pedals that I have curated) Have total guitar skills of about 4 years and during the last 12 months I am going to the rehearsals almost each week with my current band. I am always loving to improve my guitar skills and experiment with different kind of chord progressions, melodies, rhythm stuff, guitar effects etc.
Band is looking I’m Will: the singer, songwriter & bandleader for a post-punk, art-rock project called Cautionary Tales. I’ve just moved from Aotearoa/New Zealand to Berlin, and am putting together a new lineup, for both touring and writing/recording sessions. We're looking particularly for a drummer, although we're also open to auditions from guitarists, bassists, string players, synthesists, etc. We're flexible and open to any instrumentation that makes sense. I’m aiming for a 5-piece, but can see both smaller & bigger lineups working. The project is about 3 years old, and we’re in the middle of releasing our debut album. The first single was released in May (https://www.obscuresound.com/.../cautionary-tales-no.../, https://post-punk.com/listen-to-cautionary-tales-doom...), and the album itself is scheduled for August I’m happy to share the whole album, as well as newer demo material, so get in touch if you want to hear more Creatively, the elevator pitch is “literary art-rock”. It’s tricky to describe music in words, but as a songwriter I’m influenced by the great songwriters: ===> Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Bob Callahan ===> Yard Act, Idles, Nadine Shah, the National, Swans, PJ Harvey ===> Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Low And intricate, experimental art-rock: ===> St Vincent, Radiohead, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Einstürzende Neubauten Obviously this is a diverse set of influences, so we tend to experiment with different approaches and focus on pushing ourselves creatively, rather than pursuing one specific sound. I’m looking for folks with great technical skills and solid experience, who are reliable, excellent communicators, and love this kind of music. The project will suit those who are interested in something serious, with deadlines, a tight working schedule, and professional ambitions. I’m a cis white dude, so feel it’s good to explicitly mention that my community is largely queer, and this project is explicitly queer, femme and non-binary friendly. This should be a given, but isn’t. Interested? Please get in touch!

MusikerIn sucht Hello there, I'm Juliette (she/her) and I am looking for musicians from diverse influences and backgrounds to create and potentially perform together. I am a confirmed flute player (transverse and Arabic nay) and a decent acoustic guitar player. I recently moved to Berlin and would love to find musicians to experiment with and create some fusion music together. I'm very much into klezmer/ Arabic folk/South American rhythms and I would love to find people with similar and other influences to create something multicultural, multigenres and potentially through acoustic and electronic mediums. We could meet to jam around in the first place to see if we vibe and explore different possibilities after that. If this resonated with you, lemme know what you'd be up to and I would be very happy to tell you more about myself. Take care of yourself and others, Ciao Ju
