I’m 36, a bassist, and have been playing since my teenage years. I’m looking for an existing band or musicians who are building something new in the Post-Punk / Darkwave / Alternative space.
My influences include The Cure, The Chameleons, Joy Division, New Order and similar sounds — dark, atmospheric, melodic and driven by strong basslines.
I have plenty of live, studio and band experience and I’m looking for something serious enough to rehearse regularly, write original material, record and play shows.
I’m not looking to simply recreate old songs. I want to create something of our own with a distinctive sound, atmosphere and identity.
Age isn’t really important to me — what matters much more is that the chemistry between the people works and that we’re on the same wavelength musically and personally.

We’re currently working on a set of covers in the alternative / grunge / nu metal / post-hardcore / heavy rock area, with a mix of 90s/00s influences and some more modern indie/post-punk elements. So far we’ve been playing Alice in Chains, Deftones and Nirvana, and we’re looking to build from there.
The idea is to start with covers, eventually write our own stuff and start playing local gigs before too long.
We’re not too concerned about everyone being at the exact same skill level. Good chemistry, a shared taste in music, regular practice and the motivation to actually do something with the band matter more to us.

Wichtig wäre, dass du auch ein Instrument spielst, ich suche keine:n reine:n Lead-Sänger:in, ich will teilen und zusammen singen, nicht alles abgeben.
Musikalisch treffen wir uns im Idealfall im Spektrum 2000er Indie, 60s/70s Rock, ein bisschen Punk, New Wave und Post-Punk, ein kleines bisschen Yacht Rock und Offenheit für mehr. Menschlich ist es sehr wichtig, dass wir klicken, uns sehr positiv und konstruktiv begegnen und mit viel Engagement und Zeit zusammen schreiben, live spielen, recorden, etc. Ein bisschen klischeehaft gesagt, suche ich den Doherty zu meinem Barât bzw. den McCartney zu meinem Lennon, etc. – der Vollständigkeit halber: ich freu mich auch extrem, wenn du die McVie zu meinem Buckingham bist o.ä. Mein Ziel ist, tolle, erfüllende Musik zu schreiben und zu spielen und dabei offen zu sein für alles, was sich an Möglichkeiten und Chancen ergibt.
I've been very active for years with my two bands teenweek and The Sprees, as well as with my solo project Phil Farrow and Free City Rhymes. What I'm (and we're) missing in all of these projects is a second voice for shared and alternating lead & backing vocals, ideally with your own song ideas and an interest in writing songs and performing together. It would be important that you also play an instrument — I'm not looking for purely a lead singer; I want to share vocals and sing together, not hand everything over.
Musically, ideally we'd meet somewhere in the spectrum of 2000s indie, 60s/70s rock, a bit of punk, new wave and post-punk, a little bit of yacht rock, and an openness to more. On a personal level, it's very important that we click, treat each other in a very positive and constructive way, and commit to writing together, playing live, recording, etc. To put it somewhat clichée-like, I'm looking for the Doherty to my Barât or the McCartney to my Lennon, etc. — and for the sake of completeness: I'd also be extremely happy if you were the McVie to my Buckingham or something along those lines. My goal is to write and play great, fulfilling music while remaining open to whatever possibilities and opportunities may arise.

I play electric guitar (intermediate level) and also enjoy singing.
I'm looking for people to play, learn, and have fun with. If it develops into something more (like a proper band or project), that would be great too.
As for genres, I'm not entirely sure yet...
When improvising, I also like to slip into Arabic or similar musical modes.
My musical tendencies lean towards melancholic and melodic, but can also get hard and weird.
Think along the lines of Post-Punk, Shoegaze, Goth, Metal...

We (guitar - he/him, bass - she/her) from Berlin's lefty DIY scene, in our 30s and 40s, somewhere between Post-Punk, Noise and Grunge. Uptempo, dissonant, krachig and raw. We write original songs together, no hierarchy, no big egos, just a shared sense of where a song should go.
And we're looking for a drummer to join us. Experience is great, but drive and commitment matter more to us.
What we care about: showing up, being reliable, and wanting to build something together.
If you've ever hesitated to answer a "musicians wanted" ad because rehearsal spaces don't always feel like your space, this is for you. We want a calm, respectful environment where we can create songs to get what we feel out into the world.
What we offer: rehearsals every Wednesday, occasionally on weekends, a clear but relaxed structure, and a band that actually listens to each other.

Hello everybody! I’m Zoe (30) looking for interested musicians for an experimental rock/metal-adjacent band project. This is meant as a serious project with potential to hopefully release original music and regularly perform at some point, but it should always come with a start, meaning no rush and pressure from the get go, and just jam :)
I’m a singer who tries to compose music from time to time and learn music theory on her own. I’m also a huge music nerd who can just talk about music and music theory for hours. My biggest influences are in post-punk, art rock, industrial rock/metal, no wave, experimental electronics and alternative metal. I’m also really interested in jazz influences and unorthodox song/rhythm structures in these genres (The Mars Volta, Refused, Mr. Bungle, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Black Country New Road, The Lounge Lizards, Squid could be first examples).
Any instrument from guitar and bass to violin and saxophone are welcome! In the end of the day, I would like to find fellow music nerds who like to jam, experiment and exchange ideas.
