1xN is seeking a new VOCALIST and a new BRASS (SAXOPHONE / TRUMPET) PLAYER to collaborate with us in playing Acoustic Progressive Music.
We are Sebastian (guitar + foot drums) and Michael (lead guitar). Four years ago, our journey began with a simple question: How can we turn your grandma into a metalhead? In other words, how can we make non-metalheads appreciate the melody, groove, and vibe of modern metal music —like Meshuggah and Periphery— without overwhelming them with distorted guitars, grunts and screams? The answer? We pick up our acoustic guitars, break out the cajón, blend in elements of fusion, soul, and jazz, and transform those metal pieces into something entirely new. I am Orhun and studying architecture right now. Electric guitar is my passion and obsession since 12.11.2012. I also compose orcestral and electronic music for movies with Logic X Pro (just for fun). I mainly play blues and trash metal. My strength is improvising rock or blues solos. I also play lots of fast trash metal rythyms, that's why I improved a strong down picking technique. I also play rock. Funk and soul just for fun :)
However, although I am very happy about the guitar part of my life, I am never satisfied. I want to imrove myself. I am very ambitious and am a harworker. I was never active with guiatr, I always played it for fun but my friends told me that I should be active and do it professionally and I think that I would be very happy to be a part of an active band. Wir sind Groove Approved, eine Funk/Jazz/Rock Band mit einem Proberaum in Berlin Hohenschönhausen. Derzeit sind wir zu dritt mit Gitarre, Schlagzeug und E-Piano/Vocals. Vor Kurzem ist unser Bassist aus persönlichen Gründen aus der Band ausgestiegen und jetzt benötigen wir dafür jemand Neues. Außerdem wollen wir die Band demnächst noch mit verschiedenen Blasinstrumenten und Percussion vergrößern. Wir Jamen viel und schreiben eigene Songs. Mit dem Songwriting sind wir auch schon recht weit, so dass wir eigentlich in diesem Jahr ein Album mit etwa 12 Songs fertigstellen wollen. Die Songs für das Album sind ca. zu 70% fertig. Es ist uns nicht wichtig, dass die bisherigen Basslines 1 zu 1 nachgespielt werden, bis auf ein paar wichtige Melodien. Aber wichtig für uns ist, dass wir uns menschlich gut verstehen und dass die Musik groovt, insbesondere natürlich Bass & Drums. Dein Niveau sollte mindestens im semiprofessionellen Bereich liegen, hör dir dazu am besten mal die Demos an und entscheide selbst, ob unsere Musik dein Interesse weckt.

Ein Sänger sucht einen Gitarristen und einen Bassisten, die Groove Metal machen wollen. Die Musik sollte in Richtung Lamb of God oder Soulfly gehen. Zurzeit probe ich mit einem Drummer und einem Gitarristen in einem Proberaum. Wir haben ein paar Songs und einige Ideen, freuen uns aber auf Neues!
Schön wäre es, wenn diejenigen in den Bereichen Metalcore/Oldscool-Metal (Death-/Trash-/Heavy...) Erfahrung haben oder aus diesen Bereichen kommen.
Ich suche Musiker, die Bock auf solche Mucke haben, die Motivation und Zeit investieren und ebenso offen für neues sind.
Ziel wäre auf jeden Fall eine feste Band, mit der man etwas aufbauen kann. Dazu gehört natürlich auch EP/Album, Gigs und etc...
Etwas zu mir: Ich bin seit 18 Jahren als Sänger in diversen Bands unterwegs, habe einige Bühnenerfahrung gemacht und war auch schon im Studio.
