I already have a couple of personal music project by myself in electronic music. Since I’m also a guitarist (/synths enthusiast) and a metalhead it would be cool to share my passion in different directions with other music enthusiasts. So this ad is not only for electronic/techno/experimental music but also for metal/psyrock/grunge. Experimenting between the two areas would be great. Im a fan of meshuggah, gojira, tool, arch enemy and so on plus all the classics of course. But I listen to everything cool (from Pink Floyd, Radiohead, archive, godisanastronaut, depechemode to Chopin, etc..). Plus of course (proper) techno and electronic.? I like to jam and experiment. So it’s good to keep an open mind (it depends, if we wanna bang with trash metal that’s also ok but maybe a little experimental/electronic is better). Also Zeug wie Shotmaker, Four Hundred Years, Moss Icon, Funeral Diner, Orchid, Battle Of Wolf 359, Reversal Of Man, DS13, Scholastic Deth, Rorschach, Born Against, Charles Bronson, Spazz, Holy Molar, Vorkriegsjugend, EA80, Dackelblut, Drive Like Jehu, The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Joy Division etc. Zu mir: Ü35 mit Punk-/Hardcore-/DIY-Background und knapp 20 Jahren Erfahrung (Band/live/Studio), habe so ziemlich jedes Subgenre von Crust bis Postrock beackert und bin versiert in den eingangs erwähnten Bereichen, mit Hang zu dominanten Basslines und der Meinung, dass durchgeachtelte Grundtöne keine sind. Brauchbares Equipment ist vorhanden sowie Ambition, etwas von Dauer auf die Beine zu stellen. Weniger Lust habe ich auf Ska, Doom/Stoner/Sludge, Deutschrock, Partycover, Metal in allen Spielarten (außer ihr klingt wie Entombed oder Dismember), Indiepop, Shoegaze mit verhuschten Matscheriffs, Blues, Altherren-Rock, Beatdown, Grunge oder Alternative. So gar keine Lust habe ich auf Antisemiten, Sexisten, homo-/transfeindliche Vollhonks, unpolitische Oi!-Heinis, Burzumshirts, Mackerattitüde und Stammtisch-Geprolle, „Ich bin ja kein X, aber...“-Sager und ähnliche Totalausfälle. Alter (von volljährig bis Apotheken Umschau im Abo), Geschlecht, sexuelle Orientierung, Lohnarbeit oder Studium etc. ist mir dafür völlig schnuppe. Es wäre schön, wenn ihr ein paar Jahre Praxis mitbringt – für blutige Anfänger*innen fehlt mir leider die Geduld.

    Guitar player(m) would really love to join the existing music band or create the new one, by finding the people with the same vibe and interests to make some noise by doing fun, interesting and melodic stuff. I am currently playing in a folk rock band, and if you are interested I could share some of my examples on demand. I really like different types of music - mostly around rock, but it's not limited to. From the Indie Rock bands that I love - it's "Radiohead", "Oasis", "RHCP", "Yeah Yeah Yeahs", "Daughter" etc. From the other well known and different stuff I am passionate of ZZTop, Rolling Stones, Tool, Nirvana, Metallica, Within Temptation, A7X, Lacuna Coil, Linkin Park, Korn, Depeche Mode, IAMX etc. Btw, I am Ukrainian, 39, live in Berlin over 5 years (now in the middle of Wedding and P-Berg), have my own music gear (it's Fender Telecaster and Gibson SG and the nice minimum set of 6 pedals that I have curated) Have total guitar skills of about 4 years and during the last 12 months I am going to the rehearsals almost each week with my current band. I am always loving to improve my guitar skills and experiment with different kind of chord progressions, melodies, rhythm stuff, guitar effects etc.

    Dear Berliner drummers, we're searching for a drummer and/or percussionist to join us in a musical adventure, which we'd currently describe as a psychedelic project, literally and poetically. We're looking forward to receiving your contribution and help us to create and refine our own sound fusing many styles. What we play and our musical influences are quite diverse, some keywords capturing the thin line between genres and adjectives are for example: progressive, funk, space, latin, punk, acid, alternative, stoner, electronic, grunge, reggae, dark, cumbia, experimental, metal, folk, synth, kraut, noise, jazzy, post-... rock. We've been playing for a couple of months already and we decided that we really want to pursue this project seriously. Our instruments are guitar, bass, synthesizer, and also drums temporarily with some singing lately. If you are interested in this process it'd be cool, but if not that's not really a problem. That's why we really want our music to be born in our collective jam sessions and take shape later giving them certain structure to become something else. Our intention is to jam, to create songs, record an album, perform live in venues, festivals and hopefully tour in the incoming future. We see this a learning process where we want to have a lot of fun and very importantly, create meaningful friendships. Currently we're playing on Friday nights in our rehearsal space in Lichtenberg, but we're quite flexible especially if you have your own rehearsal space or if we can find a new one. Our level is quite good even though none of us is a professional musician, therefore it'd be good if you're not a beginner as well and very open minded. Interested, motivated and committed?
