Hi, I'm Piotr (35M), bass guitar player, looking for a band. I would like to play post-punk, indie, shoegaze, dream-pop, garage, psych, stoner, or basically anything that could qualify as alternative rock. I'm flexible and excited to try anything out! My top influences at the moment are bands like Fontaines DC, DIIV, Big Thief, MBV, Slowdive, Beach House, Men I Trust, Idles, The Cure, Turnstile, Basement, Title Fight, Black Sabbath I also play guitar (since I was a kid), have a bit of production knowledge. Furthermore, I'd be interested to play something similar to Born Against, Rorschach or even DS13 or Scholastic Deth. 20 years experience (band, live, studio) in genres like punk, hardcore, crust, emoviolence, postpunk and emo. (English below) Moin, wir sind Hand Me Complaints Please und spielen seit 2019 einen Mix aus Emo, Screamo und einer Schippe Punk. Da uns letztes Jahr unser Sänger abhanden gekommen ist, suchen wir aktuell nach adäquatem Ersatz. Es wäre schön, wenn du ein bisschen Erfahrung mitbringen würdest und das Takthalten keine großen Schwierigkeiten bereitet. Generell sind uns Sicherheit am Mikro, Energie/Präsenz und Motivation sowie gute Texte wichtiger als technische Raffinesse oder eine Vocalrange über acht Oktaven. Ob Clean, in der Gegend rumschreien oder lautes Rufen wäre erstmal dir überlassen, solange sich das gut in unseren Sound integrieren lässt. Vorhandene Texte können übernommen werden, muss aber auch nicht. Auch, ob du auf deutsch oder englisch schreibst, stehen wir eher passiv gegenüber. Wir, Gitarre, Bass und Drums mit einem HC-/Punk- und DIY-Background, haben zwar jeweils gut 20 Jahre Banderfahrung, trotz dessen sind wir wahrlich keine Helden und Talentwettbewerbe würden wir auch nicht mehr gewinnen - das wird von dir ebenso nicht abverlangt. Davon abgesehen haben wir keine besonderen Ansprüche. Alter, Geschlecht, sexuelle Orientierung, Studium, Lohnarbeit oder Müßiggang, ob du Kommunist*in bist oder gerne Sukkulenten züchtest ist uns völlig schnuppe. Dafür haben wir für Antisemiten, Sexisten, homo- und transfeindliche Vollhonks, unpolitische Oi!-Heinis, Burzum-Shirts und Mackerattitüde keinen Platz in unserem Leben. Last year our singer left the band and we are currently looking for an adequate replacement. It would be nice if you're able to bring some experience to the table and keeping time didn't cause to much difficulty. In general, confidence on the mic, energy/presence and motivation aswell as good lyrics are more important to us than technical sophistication or a vocal range over eight octaves. Wether it's clean singing, screams or just shouting loudly would be up to you, as long as it can be integrated into our sound somewhat decent. Existing lyrics can be adopted but they don't have to be. We are also rather passive about wether you write in german or english. Despite the fact that we, guitar, bass and drums with a hc/punk and diy background, each have a good 20 years of experience, we're definitely not heroes on our instruments and we wouldn't win talent competitions anymore – that's not expected from you either. Apart from that we have no special requirements. We don't care about your age, gender, sexual orientation, if you study, work 9-5 or don't, wether you're a communist or really into growing succulents. However, we don't tolerate antisemites, sexists, homo- or transphobic idiots, apolitical Oi!-dudes, burzum shirts and dude bro/macho attitudes or any other discriminatory beheaviour. I already have a couple of personal music project by myself in electronic music. Since I’m also a guitarist (/synths enthusiast) and a metalhead it would be cool to share my passion in different directions with other music enthusiasts. So this ad is not only for electronic/techno/experimental music but also for metal/psyrock/grunge. Experimenting between the two areas would be great. Im a fan of meshuggah, gojira, tool, arch enemy and so on plus all the classics of course. But I listen to everything cool (from Pink Floyd, Radiohead, archive, godisanastronaut, depechemode to Chopin, etc..). Plus of course (proper) techno and electronic.? I like to jam and experiment. We’ve previously been in bands called gegenüber and bathtub theory We‘re looking for a guitarist (flinta only) with some experience with playing in a band and keen to play live. Band is looking We are 3 people (bass, two guitars) looking for an ambitious drummer to complete our lineup. We have been playing together since the beginning of this year, writing songs and now rehearse 2/3 times per week in Lichtenberg. Our plan is to play live and record our music in the near future. All of us are putting a lot of time and effort into this project, so we are looking for someone who is equally ambitious and motivated. A lot of the songs are rather fast-paced and require tight and steady drumming, so you should bring some experience and be able to play fast and punky rhythms in the style of early The Cure, Surf Curse or Joy Division. For reference, some more bands we like are Fontaines DC, King Krule, The Smiths, Black Marble, Idles, Eagulls, Highschool, Citizen, High Vis, My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain etc. We are aged between 24 and 27, it would be cool to find someone who is also roughly our age and speaks German or English. Brauchbares Equipment ist vorhanden sowie Ambition, etwas von Dauer auf die Beine zu stellen. Weniger Lust habe ich auf Ska, Doom/Stoner/Sludge, Deutschrock, Partycover, Metal in allen Spielarten (außer ihr klingt wie Entombed oder Dismember), Indiepop, Shoegaze mit verhuschten Matscheriffs, Blues, Altherren-Rock, Beatdown, Grunge oder Alternative. So gar keine Lust habe ich auf Antisemiten, Sexisten, homo-/transfeindliche Vollhonks, unpolitische Oi!-Heinis, Burzumshirts, Mackerattitüde und Stammtisch-Geprolle, „Ich bin ja kein X, aber...“-Sager und ähnliche Totalausfälle. Alter (von volljährig bis Apotheken Umschau im Abo), Geschlecht, sexuelle Orientierung, Lohnarbeit oder Studium etc. ist mir dafür völlig schnuppe. Es wäre schön, wenn ihr ein paar Jahre Praxis mitbringt – für blutige Anfänger*innen fehlt mir leider die Geduld.

Hi, 30M here. In the past, I played drums in a post-metal band, guitar in a melodic hardcore band, and bass in a post-punk band. I'd like to start a music project. In the last months, I listened to a lot of lighter/faster emo/math rock, so I'd be down for either something that fits that style or darker post-rock/post-metal.
