Hey there,
I play guitar and I am looking for people to write music, perform and record together. To me, it is more important to form a strong musical connection rather liking same stuff but of course it is great the have a common ground as well. I cannot name too many names or genres but I enjoy musicians who have varied styles of songs. Like the Beatles, the albums of RHCP with Frusciante on them. I enjoy R&B, popular music, traditional and folkloric music, drum and bass, synth pop, funk. I usually do not enjoy a very heavy guitar oriented music and like to think more in terms of composition as a whole. Additionally, I studied music and played in a gypsy jazz band before.
I have a few demos of compositions and I am really looking to forward to work on, edit with people who we would get along, them as a group but also work on new pieces. To create however we would want to sound like. I do not really write lyrics so a vocalist who likes to sing or has things to say, keyboard player, drum player or a bass player is most welcome.

My Bio- n early 2022, 16-year-old songwriter and -instrumentalist Laura Lang, burst onto the music scene with her poignant debut EP, All Downhill From There. Not even a year later, Memphis-based Lang has released her sophomore EP, Bad Luck, a collection of hard-hitting indie rock songs that capture a coming-of-age love story from Lang’s fresh, distinctive perspective.
A passionate and tumultuous 7-song EP, Bad Luck’s overall sound diverts from the softer indie-folk-pop of Lang’s debut, and expands on the 17-year-old songwriter’s uncommon poise, candor, and musical precision. With self-awareness and conviction, Lang’s uses her natural gift for introspective and lyrical songwriting on Bad Luck as she processes the elated beginnings of a new relationship in, “Black Sedan,” the stark and unkind realities of love in title track “Bad Luck,” and, in final track “Goodbye/Biggest Fan,” a bittersweet ending.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Laura Lang has been singing for as long as she can remember and writing songs on piano, guitar, and ukulele since 11 years-old. In middle school, she began deeply listening to artists like Lana Del Ray and Fiona Apple, drawn to their self-possessed and creative storytelling. “Music definitely gives me that freeing feeling where there are no limits,” said Lang. “It's just endless what you can do with a guitar and your voice and songwriting.”
Having struggled with mental health since she was 13, Lang has long used her tender, emotive songwriting, as well as surreal visual art, as a way of casting light on her experience the world and channeling her boundless creative energy. “My BPD gives me the ability to zoom out and zoom in on myself and my life really well and, though my life would be easier without it, I do see it as a gift,” says Lang.
In addition to releasing her two EPs, Lang, who is currently a senior in high school, performs locally, and is in the process of putting together a band to tour with as soon as next year.

Ich möchte meine Band "Empire in Dust" neustarten. Ein Gig in Israel steht an. Dafür suche ich zunächst jemanden an den Tasten (m/w). Stilreferenzen: z.B. Diorama, Covenant, Vnv Nation, usw. Ich lebe einen Teil des Jahres nahe Athen, einen Teil in Berlin. Es gäbe daher Phasen wo wir "remote" proben/jammen müssten, z.B. über Jamulus.
ANLASS meiner Suche ist, dass ich für einen (unbezahlten) Gig im Mai 2023 in Israel (Support einer Genre-Größe) einen Stagemate (m/w) an den Tasten suche. Lust auf diese Art von Musik und auf ein wenig Abenteuer wären also wichtig. Kommerzielle Ambitionen habe ich keine (der Gig ist unbezahlt, auch Flug und Hotel sind selbst zu bezahlen), aber der Abend wird sicher ein Fest - und lässt sich mit Urlaub in diesem sehr sehenswerten Land verbinden.
GRUND dieser Suche ist, dass das Musikmachen zu zweit mehr Spaß macht (evtl. später auch zu dritt; kann mir Bass vorstellen). Aktuell arbeite ich an neuem Material und möchte ein zweites Album rausbringen. Für den gesuchten Keyboarder (m/w) ist jedes Level denkbar: Je nach Zeit, Ambition und Entwicklungsstand geht alles von Einsteiger (z.B. "Lust auf Bühne, einfache Flächensounds mitspielen") bis sehr erfahren (z.B. "Lust darauf, auch an einem Album mitzuarbeiten"). Optional sind Background-Vocals. Das gemeinsame Wirken kann zeitlich begrenzt oder offen gehalten werden. Wichtig ist nur Verlässlichkeit: Das tatsächliche Engagement sollte zu den mitgeteilten Ambitionen passen. Was biete ich: Platz zur Entfaltung in beliebiegem Maße. Ein etabliertes Band-Projekt mit guten Referenzen. Melodien, Texte, Produktionsideen mit Potenzial, Verlässlichkeit, Spaß beim Jammen und Zusammenarbeiten.
Geschlecht und Alter sind mir übrigens egal – Hauptsache die Chemie stimmt. :)

Hi, ich bin Drummerin, 38 Jahre, spiele seit zwei Jahren Schlagzeug. Suche Bassistin zum gemeinsamen jammen. Hätte Lust, mir unterschiedliche Musikstile gemeinsam anzusehen (siehe Buch unten). Über Blues Schemata zu improvisieren, Pop, Rock, Swing, Rock'n'Roll, Latin. Oder auch Songs zu covern. Hab nen E-Drums und Bassverstärker. Man könnte also auch bei mir jammen.

Band is looking
Hi! We‘re looking for some horns (saxophone, trombone etc.) and a keyboard player for our band.
We play Funk/ Pop and write our own songs which we gonna play live on stage.
