Prog/Djent female vocalist, producer looking for bandmates
Metal
Hello, my name is Lyra. I’m a singer/screamer, instrumentalist and producer. My previous bands in Canada were post-hardcore, djent and prog types, and I’ve released albums with them. I am currently looking to form a band in Berlin with a mainstream djent/prog direction. Sleep Token, Spiritbox, TesseracT, Periphery and The Contortionist would be good examples. If you are likeminded band/musician (guitarist, bassist, drummer), hit me up! As the aforementioned genre requires certain level of technicality, no beginner or hobbyist please. Thanks :)

Singer-Songwriter
Beginner*in
Me the Horizon, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Jutes, The Amity Affliction, you name it – genrefluid, emotional, raw

Lead guitarist wanted for post punk/hardcore project
MetalPunk
Hi
We are 3 people between the ages of 38 and 49 who are forming a band right now but we are still looking for a decent lead guitarist to complete the setup. I would roughly describe the music we want to make as post punk/hardcore in the style of bands like defeater, turnstile, be well, shoreline, daggermouth, more than life, basement, title fight, just to name a few. First songs are already in progress and we all have 20+ years experience playing in a band.
We are looking for someone who has experience, is reliable and has the same drive to make music as we do. We are aiming on playing regular gigs in the future as well as studio recordings.
Gender, color of skin or language doesnt matter, everyone is welcome!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers Ben!

We're a drummer and a guitar player and are looking for an experienced bass player who's into bands like Botch, At the drive-in, Thursday, Refused, Fugazi, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Drive Like Jehu…

I'm into stuff like Orchid, Battle Of Wolf 359, Pg.99, Loma Prieta, Combatwoundedveteran, Reversal Of Man, Honeywell, Heroin, One Eyed God Prophecy etc. but also bands like Funeral Diner, Portraits Of Past, Raein, Shizune and La Quiete. Furthermore, I'd be interested to play something similar to Born Against, Rorschach or even DS13 or Scholastic Deth.
20 years experience (band, live, studio) in genres like punk, hardcore, crust, emoviolence, postpunk and emo.
I have my own equipment and ambitions to create something that lasts.
If you sound even remotely close to the mentioned bands hit me up!
Looking for co-band leader to form a minimalism band
MetalRock
Sparse, minimal, brooding, hypnotic, raw, emotional intensity. How does this sound to you?
I'm looking for someone to build a minimalism rock band with me.
We'll start with covers to get going (for example: early PJ Harvey, Young Marble Giants, early The XX, Swans, The Kills, early The Cure, Velvet Underground, open to many other ideas...).
Then move on to create original material. And get on stage.
I'm a singer/guitarist/songwriter, male, 42 years. But age and gender are not important. Skills also don't matter much (you should have good control over whatever your instrument is, but certainly no hardcore-skills needed)
You should be a creative mind, a nice person, ideally play at least 1 instrument, and want to build this band together with me. Jam, write songs, recruit the rest of the band, rehearse, play gigs, etc.

Do you like bands like Title Fight, Turnover or Balance and Composure? What about Narrow Head, Pity Sex or just Run for Cover records as a label? If you want to mix heavy and fast songs with huge sounding shoegaze and post-grunge parts, let’s play some music!
With multiple songs written and many ideas ready to be worked on, the goal is to to put together a great set and start playing shows locally. Please have time for regular rehearsal, enthusiasm for this type of music and strong knowledge of your instrument.
If you’re into please drop a line and I’d be happy to share some demos and ideas, thanks.

Our Punkband is looking for a drummer! To complete our band we still need a professional and motivated drummer. You should have the mindset to record an album and get on stage in the near future, as well a getting signed. Our style also contains Babymetal- and Hardcore- Elements and we in general appreciate people who want to create something new originating from a classical Punkrock-Attitude.

Hello, the band with it's own material is looking for a singer. We play thrash metal with a lot of punk-rock/hardcore influence and we need a vocal guy. We think that growl/scream extreme vocal would not fit our music, but a harsh vocal (something like Exodus/Testament type) would be perfect. You'll be a front man and also it would be nice if you have/can write lyrics. We have number of songs ready, but with no lyrics, we have place to rehearse and huge passion for this project.
Keep thrashing!

Hi!
Unsere musikalische Einflüsse sind unter anderem (The Beatles, L7, Janis Joplin, Minor Threat, Pretenders, Bob Marley, Germs, Janis Joplin, The White Stripes, State of Alarms, Jimi Hendrix, Seafret, Tash Sultana).

I want to work on a mixture of "metal, emo, hardcore, and prog", but not limited to these genres. I have a lot of draft songs and want to collaborate with someone on them. Hi,
30M here. In the past, I played drums in a post-metal band, guitar in a melodic hardcore band, and bass in a post-punk band. I'd like to start a music project. In the last months, I listened to a lot of lighter/faster emo/math rock, so I'd be down for either something that fits that style or darker post-rock/post-metal.
hey!
our band (now just vocals and drums) is searching for a new bassist and a guitarist.
we have been playing for half a year. our style is mostly hardcore punk but we are open for different influences.
we want to play shows and record eps in the (near) future so we’re looking for people who have capacity to meet and are on fire:D
we have a rehearsal room in fhain and some phone recordings to listen to if you’re interested.
we’re not a political band but we don’t want to play together with fascists, sexists, homophobes or anything like that.

Hey there, I (26M) just moved back to Berlin and am looking for a metal band to make some heavy music with. I've played in Deathcore and Hardcore bands before (as guitarist) but vocals is what gets me really going these days. I'm into a lot of genres, Deathcore, Metalcore, Hardcore, Melo-Death, you name it. Cleans, however, are not my strength, so if you're looking for a voice that will support you in mostly melodic ways, I'm afraid I won't be of much help. Might be enough for the semi-spoken verse or occasional background chant though!
Can provide demos upon request!

Hi! My Name is Henry (24), I have recently moved to Berlin and I play heavily downtuned guitar through a Sunn amp, Eurorack modular noise machine and also I sing extreme vocals a little. I am quite experienced with music and spent quite few years touring and recording with my post-rock/noise project back in the UK, but now I decided to try myself in something way more chaotic, darker and heavier.
I am forming a band, which would include:
* Sludge riffs with a thick doom hazy slow and crushing sound
* Reality-bending time signatures and rapid tempo changes
* Brutal drone-metal walls of sound
* Violent noise attacks from the noisiest synths in the world

Hey!
