    Drummer looking for serious musicians

    MetalRockBluesFunk / SoulHip-Hop

MusikerIn sucht Hi everyone! I’m currently in Friedrichshain, Berlin, looking for a serious guitar player/riffer for a freeform jam and potentially something bigger. I’m a drummer with 20+ years of live-session experience, into Rock and building something serious from the ground up. Influences include Muse, Rammstein, Pantera, Tool, Deftones, Metallica, Audioslave and many more. I’m a big believer in work ethic, consistency and doing the homework. Talent and ideas are important, but real progress comes from showing up, putting in the work and constantly developing. I’m also open to different styles for paid work, including Funk, Blues, Soul, Hip-Hop, etc. — anything groove-based. Normally based in Romania, I’m open to travelling back and forth or relocating if something strong develops. If you’re serious about your craft and want to build something — let’s talk, meet or jam.

DRUMMER WANTED — Alternative Rock / Metal — Berlin

    MetalRockClassical

Berlin-based alternative rock/metal band looking for a drummer to complete our live lineup. Our newer material sits somewhere around Sleep Theory / Breaking Benjamin — heavy, melodic, modern alternative rock/metal with big choruses and a strong focus on groove, dynamics and tight arrangements. We have professionally produced original material recorded and are currently preparing new releases while rebuilding the live side of the project, with the goal of rehearsing regularly, creating content and playing shows. We're looking for someone who: - Plays tight, powerful and controlled — groove and precision are more important to us than overplaying - Can learn and prepare songs independently before rehearsals - Is comfortable playing to a click and backing tracks - Has their own equipment - Is based in Berlin or close enough to rehearse regularly - Is reliable, communicative and takes preparation seriously - Has good energy and stage presence - Has live/band experience - Is interested in being part of a serious, active original project and helping us build it further We're ambitious about the project, but we're also looking for someone we genuinely get along with. Good chemistry and enthusiasm matter to us as well as being technically solid. Influences / sound: Sleep Theory, Breaking Benjamin, modern alternative rock / alternative metal. Released music / videos: YouTube > https://www.youtube.com/@tidalwave_music Spotify > https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nh3auQRLrtadfY1HkjUkc?si=8PqTkbIERWudT7baxUc-5Q We also have newer unreleased material that better represents the current direction of the band, which I can send privately if it seems like a good fit. If you're interested, send me a message with a little about yourself, your musical background and availability. Please also send a video or recording of you playing if you have one. Feel free to share this with anyone who might be a good fit

ÜBER: Hey potential bandmate! Yes, YOU! We ''Madame Bristenia'' are looking for a capable drummer who masters his instrument in versatile genres, has good timing, grooves well and can play precisely on the point. The musical spectrum ranges from alternative/indie/grunge to experimental/polyrhytmic stoner metal, so you should also have the highly experimental and even sometimes extremely aggressive approach to music. On the other hand also be able to take yourself back in quiet passages/songs and play quietly with feeling. In other words, the ability to transform into different drummers would look really good on your resume. :) We are a project that has been steadily developing for the second year and we plan to move confidently only forward. The repertoire includes meanwhile approx.20 draft songs. We are looking for not only a musician who aims at professional development with us, but also a soulmate, who feels on the same wavelength. Therefore, having a good attitude is more important than possessing all the skills. You must be ready for the day when corona ends, so we have to start right now! :) We rehearse in a fully equipped studio in Neukölln. We are Sebastian (guitar + foot drums) and Michael (lead guitar). Four years ago, our journey began with a simple question: How can we turn your grandma into a metalhead? In other words, how can we make non-metalheads appreciate the melody, groove, and vibe of modern metal music —like Meshuggah and Periphery— without overwhelming them with distorted guitars, grunts and screams? The answer? We pick up our acoustic guitars, break out the cajón, blend in elements of fusion, soul, and jazz, and transform those metal pieces into something entirely new. Check out our socials to see for yourself! What Are We Looking For? We're in search of a VOCALIST and a new BRASS (SAXOPHONE / TRUMPET) PLAYER with prior experience performing live and/or in a band. Ideally, you should reside in or around Berlin for regular practice sessions (1-2 times per month). We value experimentation and, above all, a genuine love for making music. Passion for (or at least mild curiosity about) metal music and familiarity with odd meters or polyrhythms are a plus! What Do We Offer?

    Bleak Sanctuary

    MetalFunk / Soul

Profile: Bleak Sanctuary Location: Berlin, Berlin, 10245 Genres: Heavy Metal Instruments: Band Activity: Aktiv vor mehr als einem Monat SUCHE: Bass Gitarre, Schlagzeug. ÜBER: "Now I travel upstream Against the tide of entropy I choose my destiny" With this statement from the debut album The Dark Night of the Soul, multi-instrumentalist and founder Dacian the Wanderer screams out to the world from his restless inner world, channeling personal struggles and revelations into his music. The Dark Night of the Soul paints a desolate, solitary wintry world, where ancient fortresses stand as symbols of resilience, while crumbling ruins echo the death of past selves. Dacian takes you along on an introspective journey through this rugged landscape as he narrates his own personal battles, inviting listeners to confront their inner demons and emerge stronger on the other side. Stylistically, Bleak Sanctuary defies categorization, dwelling in the realms of black metal, gothic metal, and melodic death metal, while forging an unconventional path with grooves and percussive rhythms that challenge genre norms. Amidst the sound of distorted guitars and drums, a mesmerizing esoteric ensemble of instruments introduces an otherworldly spell that paints a dark, mystical landscape. Dacian's visceral screams and guttural growls, steeped in raw emotion, become a conduit for pain, forging an ethereal connection that allows the listener to feel his struggle. Born in Brazil, raised in the United States, and now finding creative refuge in Germany, Dacian’s music transcends continents. While conceived and partially produced in his hometown outside New York City, the completion of the album and the first live performances took place in southern Germany. As the album unfolds, a glimpse into Dacian's transformative journey becomes apparent - a journey from vulnerability to strength, from weakness to newfound resilience. The yearning for travel, for renewal, is palpable, echoing the transformative process of self-discovery in a distant land. The Dark Night of the Soul today stands as a testament to Dacian's adventurous spirit, a living auditory travel diary that encapsulates the essence of his profound wanderlust. In 2022, within the picturesque city of Passau, Germany, Dacian's musical odyssey took an unexpected turn when he joined forces with Leo the Restless, Vigný the Protector and Velrin the Hermit. In the subsequent year, 2023, Dacian propelled the project forward with the release of two singles, marking the band’s live debut with concerts held in various cities across Bavaria and Upper Austria.
