Hi. My name is Devon. I have recently moved to Germany and I'm trying to get into some sort of music scene. I'm actually based in Heilbronn, but at the moment I have nothing going on. I relocated with my wife but I came out of an incredibly busy 5 and half year period performing and teaching drums in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong I had my two main bands (Jazz band and then a party band) but would often play many different gigs often with many different musicians. I'm trying to get back into a Jazz scene or something like a party band covering a wide repertoire. Hi all, Valentino here, 31y.o., intermediate-level guitarist playing for over 10 years now. I love music, and guitars in particular (I REALLY love them, I am kind of a guitar geek actually!), but haven't got much opportunity to meet musicians in Berlin so far. I am looking for other musicians to play regularly and have fun together, and get serious writing our own music if we feel like (would appreciate that, but not a must.. what matters is to enjoy playing music!). I listen to a lot of different music, from blues, jazz and folk to stoner, nu-metal, prog-metal, post-rock etc. But to give you an idea, some of my favourite bands are Alter Bridge, Linking Park, Tool... let's say that those genres would be my first choice, but would love to play other stuff as well. I am very motivated, and can commit to rehearsal time every weekend. During the week I may be up for a late afternoon/evening jam as well, but cannot guarantee due to my job. Not even a year later, Memphis-based Lang has released her sophomore EP, Bad Luck, a collection of hard-hitting indie rock songs that capture a coming-of-age love story from Lang’s fresh, distinctive perspective. A passionate and tumultuous 7-song EP, Bad Luck’s overall sound diverts from the softer indie-folk-pop of Lang’s debut, and expands on the 17-year-old songwriter’s uncommon poise, candor, and musical precision. I'm a (28M) bassist from Brazil and am looking to play original music within the umbrellas of prog/psych/fusion/indie pop/noise, either original compositions or improv, so no covers (unless it's something like Gentle Giant). NOT interested in Dream Theater or Porcupine Tree-styled music, so please do not contact if those are your points of reference. I'd prefer people interested in committing to weekly rehearsals. I'm somewhat skilled at composing, and can also do vox/guitar/synths if required. Dedicated female singer songwriter (45) currently recording a multi-genre solo project (Blues, funk, rock, contemporary) would love to see my songs come to life in a band setting.
