Wir sind eine 8-köpfige Jazzband (39-59 Jahre) von engagierten Freizeitmusikern mit mehreren Gigs pro Jahr. Wir suchen eine/n Mitspieler/in für Bariton-Saxophon oder Posaune! Wir spielen Standards von Jazz bis Funk aus den 60er Jahren bis heute in eigenen Arrangements, (Coltrane, Harris, Golson, den Heavytones oder Sting).

The musical spectrum ranges from alternative/indie/grunge to experimental/polyrhytmic stoner metal, so you should also have the highly experimental and even sometimes extremely aggressive approach to music. Hey im Leo. Music is my life and passion. I Play the Guitar now for roundabout 10 years and know to Play a Lot of different Styles. I Like arabic music as i Like rythm and Blues. So i played a time as a Bass Player in a arabic folk band or as lead Guitar Player in a Rockabilly band, i Like to Cross Musical borders.

Im rooted heavily in Blues, soul and folk music, so i studied a Lot the greats Like John Lee hooker, lightin Hopkins, BB King etc. but also accoustic folk music in General.
As i progressed i also discovered a Lot Classic and progressive rock from the late 60s and mid 70s. Bands Like the Doors, CCR, Jefferson Airplane come in my mind.
As i Get older my interest for Jazz and chord melody stuff rises more and more. I admire the playing of greats Like Wes mentgomerey and George Benson. But also due to my folk Background i Love Northwest african Dessert rock (Tinariwen...) and in general the mixture of old traditional music with new Styles Like Rock and funk.
You See its hard for me to Cover all my influences. I Just Love everything that got Soul.

I am blues, rock, funk, classics and jazz musician, guitarist and composer.
All my compositions are originally composed by myself and all my bands are just me, one-man-bands.
My music is unique and tries to explore new possibilities of structure, content, composition, melody, and rhythm.....and what is more: I play all instruments,
I compose all songs, I write the texts and I live the stories behind my themes.
I have decided to produce only my own music and not to depend on Big Labels for whom I played before, among others CBS, Atlantis Records and Appel music.
I sometimes sing on smule and cover Clapton and alike.
I have seen that my strength and my passion is in my own phantasies, Doing my free compositions and instrumental music. In the meantime, I am also a fairly good singer!
Admittedly, I always practiced the violin for 7 hours and later the guitar for 10 hours a day.
I started to play in my school, and Goethe-Highschool (German Gymnasium) in the following Bands starting 1971 : The founding of my first band at school was the Los Angeles Blues Band, which later became the famous Frankfurt City Blues Band, Massada (1971-1974), Nurse (1974-1978), Lizard (1978-1990 (very successful local band from Kelkheim / Taunus, 1979 opening act for the Scorpions in the Marburg town hall broadcasted by TV Hessen 3).
Broken Glass, Sprinstorm, Zauberberg, Cetan Mani, Phoenix Band, Gallaxy Band and now Alice and Lizard.
It is with great regret that I have to announce the early death of my comusicians: Wolfgang Freund, the former keyboarder of Lizard who died on a Tumor /Cancer of Brain (he was only 27) and Alexander Stams my bass guitarist and Vocalist who died on fCovid19 only recently. R.I.P. my dear friends: we will meet one day again in the heaven of Sounds and love.

Sound-Richtung:
Arch Echo, Polyphia, Intervals. Melodisch, technisch, groovig mit modernen Breakdowns und Raum für Soli — instrumental oder mit cleanen/shout Vocals, ist noch offen.
Was du mitbringen solltest:
Solides technisches Niveau, Spaß an komplexen Rhythmen, polymetrischen Akzenten und Breakdowns
Gute Time, Click-fest, Studio-tauglich
Bock auf eigene Songs, nicht auf Cover-Band
Verlässlichkeit und Commitment — das soll ernsthaft laufen, nicht als zweites Hobby nebenbei
Drummer:
Modernes Spielgefühl, sauberer Doublebass-Footwork, Gefühl für Dynamik und Groove zwischen den heavy parts. Eigenes Equipment + Erfahrung mit Click.
Bassist (5-Saiter):
tight mit dem Drummer, Verständnis für die Lücken zwischen den Gitarren. Slap kein Muss, aber willkommen.
Keyboarder:
Synth-Texturen, Pads, Lead-Sounds, gerne auch Klavier/Rhodes für die fusion-lastigen Parts. Sound-Design-Affinität ein dickes Plus.

Style wise, we like playing music like The Black Keys, Amy Winehouse and RHCP. That said, still very much in the early stages of finding our sound, so were open to experimenting with different styles and ideas.
