ÜBER:
Who am I ?
Ode to the Blind is the liberation of suppressed emotions. I speak for
existentialism, only creatively. Any experience within the human
condition is a necessary inspiration for me.
Genre
My style leans more towards Folk, alternative rock and progressive
indie. The lyricism may reflect this and the instrumentals mostly cut
across and are dependent on a creative whim...
Mantra:
In my dimension of song, the world is tied only to the individual self.
Einflüsse:
Inspiration
I am inspired by: Rish, Andrew Bird, Diane Cluck, Metallica, Julian
Casablancas and Florence and the Machine. A kind of weight is
shared, when artists completely connect through their work and my
whole persona is anchored by this belief.

I'm mostly a chanson and variété singer and have a few stage experiences, and street performances.
I'm looking for musician or band wishing to add a contralto female voice to their productions. I would like to make some covers together and some experimental music.
I like to sing with musiciens who are more relax and calm, wishing to make some folk, world music and are straight with the voice interpretation they're looking for.

ÜBER:
Seit knapp 30 Jahren in verschiedenen Bands unterwegs, Britpop, Akustisch, Rock, Indy.

Hi there, my name's Tom, I'm a guitarist / composer from the UK. My last band has just split up, so I’m looking for a singer at the moment to try and put something else together, and to get back to writing and gigging music. You can find links to stuff I’ve done below:
Proxy Youth (my most recent band – original grunge/rock music)
https://.com/proxyyouth
Fugue State (acoustic gypsy jazz covers)
https://.com/fuguestatemusic
The Jazz Clams (instrumental jazz standards)
https://.com/jazz-clams
Space Gong (experimental jazz group)
https://.com/space-gong
Room Full of Owls (folk / alternative)
https://.com/roomfullofowls
Sods Law (rock / alternative)
https://.com/sodslaw-2
My own compositions / other collaborations
https://.com/tommacmillan
I guess I've got a lot of gig experience. In addition to the bands listed above, between 2015-2016 I played 3 nights a week, every week with a band called The Lianne Rivers Band, around various venues in the UK.
I also spent 5 years studying music at Newcastle University, where I got my Bachelor and Masters in composition.
The kind of music I would like to make is pretty theory-based. I'm very interested in unusual scales and chord progressions, and would like to figure out how to write catchy, popular songs with these. You can hear one of my attempts at this with a tune called "Carnivalesque", which you can listen to here. This uses a strange mode (1 b2 b3 #4 5 6 b7).
It would be great to find a singer who ideally knows some music theory, or has studied jazz. I'm aiming to write music that is unique but also conveys some kind of political sentiment...
Anyway, get in touch if you have any queries!
PS: Ich kann auch ein bisschen auf Deutsch sprechen/schreiben, wenn kein Englisch möglich ist. ;)

ÜBER:
I’m an international musician and live performer, active since 2010. I began my journey in Australia, playing in hostels and small independent venues, where I learned how to captivate a crowd with nothing but a guitar, a voice, and the moment we shared. My path continued through New Zealand, onto bigger stages and more ambitious shows, shaping my sound and artistic identity along the way.
Since moving to Europe, I’ve collaborated with multiple entertainment companies and performed across the continent — from clubs and theatres to private events and outdoor festivals. Beyond my live work, I’m also a composer and songwriter. My original music blends indie, folk, electronic textures and cinematic storytelling, creating soundscapes that evolve from intimate to explosive.
Currently, I work as a freelance performer for a European entertainment company, appearing at diverse venues and curated events, delivering both immersive experiences and high-energy shows.
Skills & Highlights
• Live performance: acoustic, electronic & hybrid sets
• Composition and arranging for live performance & media
• Guitar, keys, live electronics & loop-based setups
• Audio production, sound design & collaborative creation
• Strong stage presence, audience connection & improvisation
• Touring and technical coordination experience
My mission is simple: to share stories, move energy, and create moments people remember.
Einflüsse:
Need live music + original composition + flexibility? I’ve got you covered.
I’m an international performing musician and composer, blending the energy of live shows with the polish of studio production. What I can do for you:
• ? Live Performances & Festivals – Solo, duo, or full band, acoustic or electronic. Perfect for concerts, corporate events, or festival stages.
• ? Events & Weddings – Creating unforgettable experiences with custom music tailored to your celebration.
• ? Custom Compositions & Arrangements – Original songs, cinematic scores, and music for videos, commercials, or theater projects.
• ? Digital Media Content – Livestreams, remote recording, DAW-based production, sound design, mixing, and editing.
• ? Professional & Versatile – I adapt across genres (indie, folk, electronic, cinematic), read the audience, and deliver high-quality results on time.
Whether you need a captivating festival set, bespoke music for a wedding, or engaging online content, I bring creativity, skill, and energy to every project. Let’s make something memorable — live or digital.
