I’m a vocalist and i really want to collaborate with other instrumentalists (guitar/percussion-drums/bass/keys), either session musicians, or even people that want to form a band. I like prog rock/metal, art pop, jazz, alternative rock, and a few electronic elements. I like building ideas at home in Ableton. I usually start by recording some guitar parts, adding some simple synths, vocal harmonies and the main vocals. really love technical/prog/melo death metal however i am a singer, and not an extreme vocalist. I wouldn't call myself a professional musician, but I do have studio and live experience. I particularly enjoy working on new songs. I also have basic skills on bass, acoustic guitar, and vocals. Although my roots are in metal, I don't want to limit myself to a specific genre when looking for new musicians. For me, the most important thing is that a band has a coherent concept or that we develop one together. As long as the working relationship within the band is good, I would be open to many different musical styles. In recent years, I have listened to a lot of electronic music and could therefore imagine making music in the future that incorporates electronic sounds and is not based exclusively on distorted guitar sounds. I'm looking for someone to share my tiny but fully equipped studio in a nice part of Charlottenburg. I'm only there a couple of days a week, so it’s empty most of the time. The studio: - Very small — less than 8 m². - Really low ceiling (I'm 1.80 m and can just about stand upright; if you're taller, you won't be able to). - Accessible 24/7. - Has its own private toilet, only used by me and another guy who has a separate room in the same basement but is hardly ever around. - Very cheap rent. The price you’d pay depends on how often you plan to use it, but it'll be under €100/month. - Great location: 3 minutes’ walk from U-Bahnhof Richard-Wagner-Platz, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and cafés. - Fully equipped: monitors, sound interface, guitars, basses, electronic drum kit, a few synths, an electric piano with weighted keys, a couple of guitar amps, and some pedals. - Moderately humid (more so in summer than in winter), but never to the point where it’s a real problem. It stays fairly mild all year, and there’s a fan that can also heat, plus a dehumidifier. You: - Single musician, or possibly a duo if you’re not too big (I mean physically, not your album sales). Perfect if you want to practice your instrument without annoying your neighbours. - No party people. No afterparties, no before parties, no parties parties, no gatherings, no drugs, no getting pissed in there. Do all that — just not in this place. - Ideally you wouldn’t need to bring lots of extra equipment. There’s still space for some rack synths/effects, some small gear like a drum machine, maybe a guitar — but that’s it. - You must have valid Haftpflichtversicherung. My equipment and the room are insured (you can see the documents), but I also want proof you’re covered in case you accidentally smash the guitar my great-grandfather gave me on his deathbed. - You’ll need to pay one month’s rent plus a one month deposit — I’ll provide a receipt for this. But please note I’m not in a position to give monthly receipts or offer an official contract. – If you’re into the CDU, any form of xenophobia, making excuses for genocides, or anything along those lines, please close this tab in your browser and pretend it never existed. MusikerIn sucht I‘m on the search for like-minded musicians either for my own project and/or to join an existing band. My own project is called Another Warm Autumn, you can check it out on Spotify and Instagram. For this I want to form a band consisting of three other people - Someone on drums, bass and synths. Joining another band I‘d be able to contribute mainly on guitar. I‘m not a technically advanced solo player, but more a rhythm oriented textural player. I‘d be open for many genres, be it Pop, Soul, Funk, jazz- or electronica-driven music. I have not studied something jazz-related, nor music in general at a Hochschule für Musik. I am self-taught, I also attented a Musik-Gymnasium and did a Musik-Abitur. My aspiration is a professional one, though I might not be professional in a classical sense. Music was and always will be the biggest part of my identity and I‘d love to connect with other people through music. Because that can really be one of the most beautiful experiences in life if you find people you get along well with. I have created a concept album that is ready (it could best be described as alt rock/indie with influences of triphop/electronic/new wave) , consisting of 10 songs telling a singular story about a character traveling back in time to save the world from climate change. I'm looking for musicians to play it with me (a drummer, guitarist, bassist and keyboardist) that are interested in music that is genre-blending music AND to work with on a second album that continues the story told in the first album....
