PunkRockJazzElectronicI’m a young Copenhagen rock musician based in Berlin. I released my Debut album “Carry Home Your Circus” September 10 2021 and I’m currently in the studio recording a follow up. I’m a guitarist and vocalist. My music is an experimental sound of found streams, at times Musique concrète, and raw drum and percussive loops to poetry, prose and singing, and crackling loud electric guitars. My music and lyrics are primarily influenced by the noisy ambient and to me mystic rhythms and people from the noise of urban surroundings and experimental punk and jazz.. A world of shiny people, and I’d like to add a live drummer and bass player to be part of what you’re about to hear, and just play freely like some Danger Birds, first at gigs and eventually in the studio creating new music together. To me, it is more important to form a strong musical connection rather liking same stuff but of course it is great the have a common ground as well. I cannot name too many names or genres but I enjoy musicians who have varied styles of songs. Like the Beatles, the albums of RHCP with Frusciante on them. I enjoy R&B, popular music, traditional and folkloric music, drum and bass, synth pop, funk. I usually do not enjoy a very heavy guitar oriented music and like to think more in terms of composition as a whole. Additionally, I studied music and played in a gypsy jazz band before. I have a few demos of compositions and I am really looking to forward to work on, edit with people who we would get along, them as a group but also work on new pieces. To create however we would want to sound like. I do not really write lyrics so a vocalist who likes to sing or has things to say, keyboard player, drum player or a bass player is most welcome. Hi I have been in Berlin for 5 years performing mostly as an acoustic Singer - Songwriter but, I have evolved my sound. My new sound is more mixture of post-punk/80’s new wave and electronic dance. Put another way, imagine if Erasure had a baby with Annie Lennox with the cool aunt being PJ Harvey and the cool uncle being New Order. My new sound does not work solo and I would like to find a co-performer(s) who is/are in a similar position: An act that needs more fore live support. This is more than forming a “band”, it is about growing professionally as independent musicians and making a go of it. Some may call this “collaboration” but my approach to collaboration is a bit different. I have worked with another musician (Matthew Presidente) in the past but, unfortunately they are in Canada. Like myself he is also a lead / independent musician with his own catalogue. What we did is when I had a show he would back me (keys and backing vox), when he had a show I would back him (guitar and backing vox). We have also written and recorded some songs together (PRO registered) and we help each other out with our respective independent projects. We often would do a show with each performing a full set locking in a full night. I am hoping to find a “co-performer” here in Berlin that I can build a similar relationship. What am I looking for: I am looking for somebody who can bring keys and backing vocals to the stage with me. Performances would also include some backing track support (drums/beats and bass lines). I would also what to have somebody to work with for writing and developing songs. In regards to writing, any songs fully written together would have share of ownership registered with respective PRO’s. Obviously we need to have sounds that complement each other. About you: You are an independent musician and you have been at this for a while. You have a good catalogue and you want to take your performances to the next level. You are passionate about music, comfortable on stage and are committed to try and make some money as an independent musician. I am open to whomever you are but you must be LGBTQ+ positive. You should also be available to tour the EU and UK. About Me I can bring to the stage: Vocals (lead and backing), acoustic and electric guitars, keys, synths, bass, drums (programmed and live drums) and Ableton (w/ a Push). I have released music and I have an extensive catalog of originals I am working on releasing. I am fully equipped for live and studio and I am ready, willing and able to tour. Mit ihrer verrückt lässigen Art stehen die 6 Freunde auf der Bühne, zeigen was sie draufhaben und leben ihre Leidenschaft voll aus. In ihrem Konzertprogramm findet man viele Cover von allem was gerade in den Charts läuft und auf den Sommer-Festivals dieser Welt zu hören ist und kracht. Mehr und mehr spielen die Jungs aber auch eigene Musik. Jetzt könnte man sagen: „Covern kann heutzutage ja jeder!“, aber niemand tut es auf diese Art und Weise wie diese Band es macht. So haben sie ihren eigenen Stil kreiert, indem softe Sounds, technisch versierte Basslines und auch aggressive Klänge ihren Platz finden. Für jeden ist also etwas dabei, und mit dieser Liebe zur Musik und der Leidenschaft zu ihren Instrumenten, haben sie es geschafft, Blasmusik wieder partykonform zu machen! Die Jungs haben mehrfach für den Bundespräsidenten gespielt, waren live im Fernsehen zu sehen und waren beim Berliner Presseball zu Gast.
