We are looking for a piano\ keys player (all genders welcome :) ) for our new group where we are playing in a jazz-rock fusion style. At the moment, we have a guitar player, a bassist and a drummer. We are focusing on writing and arranging some original instrumental songs with plans for extended jam\improv sections. Hey ich bin Lotta und singe in einem Berliner Kammerchor im Prenzlauer Berg. Wir sind ca. 30 Sänger*innen und suchen momentan noch Verstärkung für die Bassstimme. Wir proben wöchentlich und singen ein paar Konzerte pro Jahr.

i am a lyricist and singer who writes her own vocal lines and harmonies. the themes are dark as is my aesthetic. i love performing more than anything; on stage i like to howl and have fits.
i vaguely know my way around a piano and have studied very basic music theory but i don’t play an instrument.
your instrument doesn’t matter to me as long as you have your own sound and ideas. the more you know/understand yourself as a musician the better. i want to combine my powers with the powers of somebody else powerful. i am a pleasant and flexible collaborator, despite my strong ideas.
my vocals are heavily influenced by grunge and baroque chorale i guess. huge fan of radiohead, idolize lingua ignota. my favorite sounds are sludgey and womblike. would love to create with someone who has an author and punisher kind of vibe, but again i am totally open. i will know what i want when i hear it.
fully committed to this project, making art is my life so no weekenders please. i’m bringing a lot to the table, please do same.
my preferred way to work is to write lyrics and vocal melody over a pre-composed piece.
ideally we will spend a few months developing material, rehearse like madmen for a while, then start booking gigs. a lot. everywhere we can. if you are experienced in the business of being in a working band and/or good with production [i’m extremely novice] i am extra interested in hearing from you.

Hello to all the curious (hopefully also interested) who have opened my profile.
I am class of 1972, born and raised in Turin (Italy), my musical training was born to pass from English Punk to flow into the first musical experiences in the underground hardcore punk and then refine sounds and musical style with the Metal '80, Grunge '90 , Nu Metal etc.....
What I am passionate about in sounds in the last 15 years is Stoner in it's more (Psychedelic) Stoner/Doom sense, perhaps because the first musical reference band for me is Black Sabbath who in every sense invented Metal and the above sounds.
The bands that inspire me are too many x point them out therefore I finally get to the point...... I would like to find other fans of these genres to create a musical project (live and performances I can be there but they are not the focus of the project) that has a rough and distorted Weedeater sound that is mixed with dark sounds of Alice in Chains with atmospheric (sludge doom) metal tracks like Sleep/Electric Wizard etc. ... for which singing is not needed ( unless the singer has skills like Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer, or like Layne Staley of Alice in Chains).
I like to compose the bass lines of the pieces I tend to start from, which is why I like to create specific sounds for almost every piece I play. Basically I chord everything between Drop C and Drop B , always looking for a darker type of sound.

I guess I've got a lot of gig experience. In addition to the bands listed above, between 2015-2016 I played 3 nights a week, every week with a band called The Lianne Rivers Band, around various venues in the UK.
I also spent 5 years studying music at Newcastle University, where I got my Bachelor and Masters in composition.
The kind of music I would like to make is pretty theory-based. I'm very interested in unusual scales and chord progressions, and would like to figure out how to write catchy, popular songs with these. You can hear one of my attempts at this with a tune called "Carnivalesque", which you can listen to here. This uses a strange mode (1 b2 b3 #4 5 6 b7).
It would be great to find a singer who ideally knows some music theory, or has studied jazz. I'm aiming to write music that is unique but also conveys some kind of political sentiment...

Ich bin 21, Drummer seit 10 Jahren, hatte als Kind eine klassische Chorausbildung, heute bin ich mittelmäßiger Bass und in allem Zuhause, das mit Metal und Rock zu tun hat. Ich habe minimal Banderfahrung und einen geregelten Job.
Aktuell suche ich einen Screamer, Gitarristen und Bassisten für mein erstes Studioprojekt. Hey ich bin Kiki,
ich bin 19 Jahre jung und war schon mal für ein paar Jährchen in einer Band als Frontsängerin.
Nun möchte ich dies weiter Ausarbeiten mit den richtigen Crew.
Ich singe seit ein Paar Jahren im Chor und versuche mich dadurch selbst ein wenig weiter zu bilden, da ich selbst keinen Gesangsunterricht hatte.
Dafür jedoch Klavier und Gitarren Unterricht.

Komischerweise hatte ich nie wirklich die Einflüsse von außen im Bezug auf meine Musik.
Ich habe schon immer seitdem ich richtig hören konnte auf verschiedene Umweltbedingte Klänge, Musik oder Stimmen fasziniert reagiert.

Die jahrelange Erfahrung des Fiake e.V. (Foerderung des internationalen Austausches fuer Kuenste und Erziehung) ermoeglicht die Teilnahme an internationalen Veranstaltungen und Wettbewerben, sowie an Konzerten ausserhalb Deutschlands; fest geplant ist als erste Station China Ende November 2017.
Ausserdem wird der Fiake e.V. Tourneen und Probenwochenenden finanziell unterstuetzen.

sto implementando un progetto strumentale orientato al doom / sludge / drone psichedelico, con forte attenzione alle atmosfere, che possa creare un' immersione sonora.
Non è un progetto “rock” classico e non è basato su assoli o virtuosismi, ma sul peso emotivo del brano, sulla lentezza e stratificazione del suono con effetti specifici creati ad hoc.

- Batterista: capace di suonare lento, attento alla dinamica, alla tensione di ogni singola battuta,

- Chitarrista (opzionale): NON una “prima donna”, niente assoli inutili
* ruolo: arricchire i brani, creare layer, feedback, texture
- Tastierista / synth (possibile alternativa alla chitarra)
* interessato a drone, ambient, atmosfere psichedeliche, suoni scuri, organici

non cerco professionisti, non lo sono neanche io, cerco persone appassionate, che abbiano una sorta di urgenza espressiva e comunicativa

Il feeling per sala prove, registrazioni e direzione del progetto si costruiscono step by step, con calma.
La risultante musicale per me dovra' essere che chi ascolta non dovra' pensare "che musica e' ?" ma piuttosto chiedersi "che sensazione mi ha lasciato addosso?”
# Conosco le difficolta' organizzative di una citta' come Berlino da ormai 13 anni e sono passato gia' da mille jam per cui vorrei che rispondessero solo coloro che si rivedono nei suoni e nell' esigenza di creazione musicale.

mi piacerebbe descrivermi come: "compositore del corpo sonoro del brano" ma se devo essere piu' specifico direi qualcosa del tipo:
"Suono ed uso il basso come strumento centrale di composizione. Non parto dal ritmo ma dalla materia sonora: riff lenti, armonie scure, note singole e power chord. Gli effetti non sono decorativi, ma parte integrante della scrittura. Il basso a 5/6 corde diventa una voce grave, tra baritona e drone, che definisce l’identità del brano."

The style I play is a mix of alternative rock, indie rock, grunge and shoegaze. The bands that are currently inspiring me are: Mannequin pussy, Blondshell, Momma, Chokecherry, Power Plush, Wisp, Deux visages, NewDad...
My aim is to write songs, release self-made records and play gigs in, and if the opportunity occurs, out of Berlin.
About me: I´m a 30-year-old man, relatively new to the guitar (2 years), but I have years of experience as a bass player (live and recording experience). I also used to play saxophone as a kid (I've been meaning to start again) and I know my way around a synth. I also taught myself recording and mixing so that I can make us nice diy records.
My style: I like to play chords and leads, and I like to blend quiet and heavy parts in one song. My approach to playing is to often let space for other instruments to shine so that the spotlight is shared between all. It's important to me that the other musicians I play with share this mindset.
My progress in German are slow so I prefer speaking English.

The long-term goal includes live performances, GVL income, possible GEMA shares (if involved in songwriting), and funding opportunities.
