Hey ich bin Kiki,
ich bin 19 Jahre jung und war schon mal für ein paar Jährchen in einer Band als Frontsängerin.
Nun möchte ich dies weiter Ausarbeiten mit den richtigen Crew.
Ich singe seit ein Paar Jahren im Chor und versuche mich dadurch selbst ein wenig weiter zu bilden, da ich selbst keinen Gesangsunterricht hatte.

Komischerweise hatte ich nie wirklich die Einflüsse von außen im Bezug auf meine Musik.
Ich habe schon immer seitdem ich richtig hören konnte auf verschiedene Umweltbedingte Klänge, Musik oder Stimmen fasziniert reagiert.

Die jahrelange Erfahrung des Fiake e.V. (Foerderung des internationalen Austausches fuer Kuenste und Erziehung) ermoeglicht die Teilnahme an internationalen Veranstaltungen und Wettbewerben, sowie an Konzerten ausserhalb Deutschlands; fest geplant ist als erste Station China Ende November 2017.
Ausserdem wird der Fiake e.V. Tourneen und Probenwochenenden finanziell unterstuetzen.

I am looking to put together a 'jazz-rock' band. The sound I am aiming for is jazz-influenced harmony with some 'unconventional' chord progressions in a rock context (verse and chorus structures with solo sections (sometimes extended solo sections :) ). My main inspirations for this project come from Steely Dan (for the fancy yet accessible songwriting) and The Allman Brothers (for the extended instrumental jams that I also have in mind. La risultante musicale per me dovra' essere che chi ascolta non dovra' pensare "che musica e' ?" ma piuttosto chiedersi "che sensazione mi ha lasciato addosso?”

About me: I´m a 30-year-old man, relatively new to the guitar (2 years), but I have years of experience as a bass player (live and recording experience). I also used to play saxophone as a kid (I've been meaning to start again) and I know my way around a synth. I also taught myself recording and mixing so that I can make us nice diy records.
My style: I like to play chords and leads, and I like to blend quiet and heavy parts in one song. My approach to playing is to often let space for other instruments to shine so that the spotlight is shared between all. It's important to me that the other musicians I play with share this mindset.
My progress in German are slow so I prefer speaking English.

Hallo in die Runde! Ich bin ausgebildete Schauspielerin und derzeitig wieder als solche hauptberuflich tätig, war aber auch sozialpädagogische Fachkraft. Meine Mutter war Opernsängerin und durch jahrelanges Mitwirken in Chören (von Schule bis zum Extrachor im Bereich Oper/Operette) und durch das Imitieren meiner Mutter habe ich DIY-Klassikkenntnisse. Außerdem hatte ich einige Jahre nebenbei Unterricht im Bereich Musical/Pop/Chanson. Während eines Theaterprojekts bei dem ich Édith Piaf spielte und ihre Chansons sang, habe ich meine Liebe zum Gesang neu entdeckt.
Ich habe einige rudimentäre Songfragmente bei mir herumliegen, spiele selbst sehr rudimentär bis gar nicht Klavier und suche Personen (die am besten Klavier beherrschen, gerne auch Duett-Partner*innen u/o Gitarrist*innen), die mir helfen diese Songideen auszubauen, zu arrangieren und vielleicht irgendwann mit mir auftreten u/o Songs produzieren (lassen). Natürlich auch gerne zum Covern und Jammen und Ausprobieren von euren Songideen/Songs. Ich mag sehr viele Genre/Stile... non Édith Piaf, bis Lina Maly, Paula Hartmann, Ingrid Michaelson. Momentan lieber Pop, Indie, nicht so sehr Chanson, aber eigentlich möchte ich grundsätzlich gerne singen und gemeinsam was ausprobieren.

We‘re a new band project consisting of Bass (M28) and Lead Guitar (M20) mostly moving in the genres Of shoegaze, dream pop, surf, rock… We are currently working on songs (demos available with old drummer) and are looking for a drummer, rhythm guitar and preferably female vocalist. For rhythm it would be great to have some pedals like a fuzz, chorus or delay to back dreamy sounding parts. We’d love to play live some day. Backing vocals are a plus!
