We’re “Cactus for Breakfast” - a surf-inspired garage psych band from Berlin. We’re looking for a new drummer to join us, since our current drummer is leaving us (cause he’s sadly moving away for work). We play mostly originals, ranging from bluesy western songs, groovy tunes, softer ballads to more psychedelic and experimental songs. We’re blending influences from '60s/'70s surf and psychedelic rock (like The Doors and The Velvet Underground) with modern alternative indie sounds (The Nude Party, The Grogans, Sun Room). We have a 1,5 h setlist, have played more than 10 shows last year, have already recorded 2 EP’s and have lots of new songs to be released throughout 2025. We have shows booked for this year already (shows in Berlin, small festivals Germany-wide, a small UK tour, prob. an EP-release tour, etc.). We’re rehearsing at Rockhaus Berlin and rehearse min. 1-2 a week (usually Tuesday & Thursday evening, sometimes during the day on weekends). We’re looking for someone that’s interested to commit to our band and join us on this journey!

Da mein Vater auch Schlagzeuger war, begann ich schon in jungen Jahren im Keller zu trommeln. Und es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Von der Schul-Bigband ging es dann zu meinen ersten privaten Formationen im Rock/Pop/Blues-Genre. Während meines Studiums entstand das erste etwas ambitioniertere Bandprojekt. Mittlerweile spiele ich auch Gitarre und liebe es zu singen. Trotz meines anspruchsvollen Jobs habe ich immer versucht, der Musik in meinem Leben Raum zu geben, weil sie mir einfach so viel gibt. Auch wenn es manchmal schwierig ist, nach einem langen Arbeitstag die Motivation für eine Probe aufzubringen, weiß ich vom ersten Ton an, dass es sich wieder lohnt.

Looking for a band to jam in Berlin. I play guitar (electric, acoustic and classical). I'm into all types of genres but mostly blues (Stevie Ray, Clapton style), rock (Led, Dire Straits, RS etc.) psychedelic (Pink Floyd) and grunge (Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam). Can jam to nearly everything and just looking for some fun to begin with.

Looking for a FLINTA bassist and potentially backing-vocalist (no must) to join our Blues Punk band project. Ideally you wanna be an active creative member and co-write and co-create with us. Currently we are Matt on drums/vox and Jonny on Guitar/Bass/Vox. We also usually do our own artwork, if you're keen on that too. Band formed in 2020, and we're about to release our 2nd album soon. Ideally you're between 25 and 45 and enjoy both working in a studio environment and performing. We have a nice rehearsal space in Neukölln.
