Ich möchte eine Metalband gründen, die versucht genreübergreifend zu sein und sich aus jeglichen Grundmustern musikalischer Ordnung zu befreien. Die Band lehnt sich stark an Bands, wie Sumac, Old Man Gloom, Botch, Fluisteraars, Caspar Brötzmann Massaker und Baroness an. Es sind nur Vorschläge, wie die Band sich anhören könnte. Derzeitig suche ich eine*n Schlagzeuger*in, die*der gewillt ist vertracktete Rhythmen zu spielen, Blasts Beats lernt oder kann und offen für freie Improvisationen ist! Mehrere Songs sind schon fertig geschrieben und warten nur gespielt zu werden! Jedoch möchte ich betonen, daß ich dem*der Schlagzeuger*in es überlasse wie die Schlagzeugparts gespielt werden, da es ein kollabarativer Prozess sein muss! Manche der Songs gehen in Noise-Passagen über, wo auch frei improvisiert wird. Doch gibt es auch Songs die eher zum Stampfen sind. Hoffentlich war das nicht all zu viel Text! Funk / SoulI’m a bassist in my thirties who’s played in a bunch of bands in my teens and early 20’s but not too much the past few years. I’d love to find some people to jam with, write some songs and play the occasional gig around Berlin for the fun of it. Style-wise, when I was younger I was crazy about the Chili Peppers but now I’m more keen just to play basslines that groove: I’d love to play anything that’s groovy, a bit funky - a little RnB even. I'm really loving artists like Vulfpeck and Scary Pockets at the moment. Ideally, I’d like to jam 2 - 3 times a month and play a gig every month or second month but open to other arrangements.

Riot grrrl project looking for musicians
Hi! My name is Tash and I’ve recently moved from the UK to Berlin, so looking for new musicians (preferably FLINTA*) to keep the project going. It’s a riot grrrl band called Bleach Brain, similar to Hole, the Distillers, Bikini Kill, it’s very screamy and heavy. Some of the songs are complex and all of them are really fast, so need a certain level of ability and experience performing on stage. Singer / wannabe guitarist searching for like minded and creative people

I’m a 20 y/o singer (and a not so good guitarist) looking to start a band/project influenced by progressive metal, alternative rock, and experimental elements — some band/artist influences would be: Karnivool, Tool/A Perfect Circle, Placebo, Radiohead, Björk, Fiona Apple, Eivør, Beyond Creation ( the basslines and the melodic parts - ex: Coexistence bridge ) A few things about me and what I’m looking for: - I already have some small pieces of music I can share. I usually write by finding a melody on guitar first - I’m terrified of jamming, at least at the start, so I’d prefer rehearsals where we prepare parts at home, then come together to refine and give feedback/ideas - I want this project to be quite complex and experimental, with clean vocals, tribal drums/cajon at times, progressive rhythms, melodic elements, and space for unconventional instruments if that fits - I think band members should feel comfortable and connected, so grabbing a drink and getting to know each other before playing sounds good to me - You’ll need to be a bit patient and understanding, as I don’t have much experience working in a band setting yet, but I’m eager to learn and grow - We can even start with covers or creative covers if that helps break the ice - Age-wise, I’d prefer people around 18-30 - Most importantly, I want songwriting to be fun and collaborative, where everyone brings their own ideas.
