Band is looking Hey there, We’re Conor Corp we play indie pop/post-punk tunes here in Berlin. We’re looking for a (20-60 y/o m/f/x) keyboardist who’d be into playing some gigs with us (we’ve one in loophole in a month actually) and also work on some new tunes. We’re pretty easygoing dudes, I’m Conor (26), I sing/guitar/ableton shit and play with Uli (47) on bass and Rory (29) on drums. We are playing mostly originals, but adding composing more originals and covers as we go. Our influences are pretty varied, but mine for Conor Corp’s style would be: Talking Heads, MGMT, Women, Surf Curse, Parquet Courts, Beach Fossils, Mac Demarco, Current Joys. Must be able to practice 1 time a week in bergmannkiez with us. And play the odd show on the weekends. I'm very flexible as far as music genres go, but I enjoy Rock (QOTSA, SOaD, Arctic Monkeys), Punk (Bad Religion, NoFX, Anti-Flag) and Ska (Streetlight Manifesto, Ska-P, Catch 22, Sublime) the most; that being said, my previous band was a Funk band covering music from Vulfpeck and similar bands. I can sing and write songs in English, Spanish, French and German. I've also sung in Portuguese and Korean before but I don't speak those languages fluently. While I'm initially looking for a band as a hobby, I'm 100% committed to spend the necessary time in rehearsals, and working on my voice and lyrics. Any metal drummer out there capable of blast beats (double pedal would also be cool) to integrate this project (link below)? I have 7 songs w/ lyrics done. The aim is to bring them up as a band, an album and maybe do gigs. The project's name, "Les Enfants Perdus", was taken from Guy Debord's book "The Society of the Spectacle", one of the greatest works of critical theory. Musically, I'd say I see distortion mostly as representative of the message rather than genre. That said, I'm not looking necessarily for metalheads but mostly for musicians that appreciate playing non-traditional metal and, above all, that can relate to radical political views. We're a fresh punk band with guitarist and drummer. I also try to sing while playing drums but would be great to find a bassist who feels comfortable to sing along,... or perhaps alone :) We're already grown up men, me 43 and guitarist 38. So far our first recordings have been sung in finnish language but there's no limit. Perhaps some instrumental stuff is coming next... At the moment we we play only sundays in music circle. Hallo, wir suchen eine neue Schlagzeugerin, da unsere bisherige Drummerin leider keine Zeit mehr hat. Wir (1 x Bass, 2 x Gitarre) haben einen Proberaum in Mitte, wo wir 1 x pro Woche proben, und machen irgendwas zwischen Indie / Post Rock / Dream Pop. Wir haben keine professionellen Ambitionen, der Spaß am Musikmachen steht im Vordergrund. Gleichzeitig wollen wir regelmäßig an unseren Songs arbeiten, und als nächstes Ziel einen Live-Auftritt im nächsten Frühjahr anvisieren. Wir wünschen uns daher jemanden, die Lust darauf hat und sowohl entspannt als auch verlässlich ist. Hallo! Wir von der Berliner Reggae/Pop Band Steppers Division bringen seit mehreren Jahren unseren strictly positive vibes zum Berliner live circuit. Aktuell sind wir auf der suche nach einem neuen Keyboarder! Wir arbeiten an einer komplett neuen Live-Show, zusammen mit zwei Sängern aus England und Tschechien. Hierbei arbeiten wir derzeit an einem Demo Track für Netflix und Ende diesen Jahres soll unsere Live Show stehen. Daher muss der neue Keyboarder mindestens einmal pro Woche Proben können, mit der Möglichkeit, dass die Proben häufiger werden, wenn mehr Aufträge ins Haus kommen. Die einzigen zwei anderen Wünsche, die wir haben, sind professionelle Bühnenerfahrung und eine gute Arbeitsmentalität, auf die wir aufbauen können. Spaß und Liebe zur Musik stehen natürlich an erster Stelle. Bei interesse senden wir euch die Tracks an denen wir gerade arbeiten. Dear Berliner drummers, we're searching for a drummer and/or percussionist to join us in a musical adventure, which we'd currently describe as a psychedelic project, literally and poetically. We're looking forward to receiving your contribution and help us to create and refine our own sound fusing many styles. What we play and our musical influences are quite diverse, some keywords capturing the thin line between genres and adjectives are for example: progressive, funk, space, latin, punk, acid, alternative, stoner, electronic, grunge, reggae, dark, cumbia, experimental, metal, folk, synth, kraut, noise, jazzy, post-... rock. We've been playing for a couple of months already and we decided that we really want to pursue this project seriously. Our instruments are guitar, bass, synthesizer, and also drums temporarily with some singing lately. If you are interested in this process it'd be cool, but if not that's not really a problem. But what's really important to us is that we envision this project as a collective and not a place where egos take the control. That's why we really want our music to be born in our collective jam sessions and take shape later giving them certain structure to become something else. Our intention is to jam, to create songs, record an album, perform live in venues, festivals and hopefully tour in the incoming future. We see this a learning process where we want to have a lot of fun and very importantly, create meaningful friendships. Currently we're playing on Friday nights in our rehearsal space in Lichtenberg, but we're quite flexible especially if you have your own rehearsal space or if we can find a new one. Our level is quite good even though none of us is a professional musician, therefore it'd be good if you're not a beginner as well and very open minded. Interested, motivated and committed? Our guitarist just moved abroad and so we (a drummer, a bassist and a singer - all women) are looking for a new guitarist (a woman too, preferably) who would be able to start practicing with us asap. We'd like to find someone who speaks English and/or French (because these are the languages we master best and want to be able to communicate easily ;)), who's been playing for a couple of years or so (no previous band experience needed) and who'd be willing and motivated to practice a couple of hours a week, for the time being.
