I usually start by recording some guitar parts, adding some simple synths, vocal harmonies and the main vocals. really love technical/prog/melo death metal however i am a singer, and not an extreme vocalist. PunkRockElectronicClassicalHey, I´m looking to start or join a recently formed band as a guitar player. The style I play is a mix of alternative rock, indie rock, grunge and shoegaze. The bands that are currently inspiring me are: Mannequin pussy, Blondshell, Momma, Chokecherry, Power Plush, Wisp, Deux visages, NewDad... My aim is to write songs, release self-made records and play gigs in, and if the opportunity occurs, out of Berlin. About me: I´m a 30-year-old man, relatively new to the guitar (2 years), but I have years of experience as a bass player (live and recording experience). I also used to play saxophone as a kid (I've been meaning to start again) and I know my way around a synth. I also taught myself recording and mixing so that I can make us nice diy records. My style: I like to play chords and leads, and I like to blend quiet and heavy parts in one song. My approach to playing is to often let space for other instruments to shine so that the spotlight is shared between all. It's important to me that the other musicians I play with share this mindset. New band project looking for drummer (rehearsals, gigs & studio)
RockBluesPopWe (guitar/vocals + bass) are looking for a drummer (m/f/d) for a new band project. You should be able to play – but even more important: the vibes have to be right, and we should click on a personal level. If you can groove both loud and soft, that’s a big plus. Songwriting interest is very welcome (both: lyrics and music): We have lots of song ideas that need to be developed and brought to life, and we’re open to your input. The plan is to have regular rehearsals and joint songwriting sessions – also gigs and (studio) recordings. Looking ahead, we could imagine expanding the lineup with a second guitar/keys and backing vocals – can you do backings? Even better.
