ÜBER: Just moved to Berlin from Seattle, USA. My German is NOT great yet. I have experience with festivals (SXSW/CMJ), most venues in Seattle, music videos, studio work/albums, etc. I mainly play lead guitar and keys, but have played Bass and Drums for projects as well. In addition, I have a small home studio (still in the process of getting it set up). Over the years he played piano, saxophone, sang choir, and even guitar. It wasn't until studying with the best at the Indiana University School of Music that he developed his love for playing drums. He has played in indie-rock bands inspired by the White Stripes, Modest Mouse, and Sleater-Kinney. Later he played in an alternative rock bands, playing gigs in Washington, DC, with a style inspired by Fugazi, Soundgarden, Primus, and Built to Spill. Later he supported a singer-songwriter, and played melodic jams reminiscent of Elvis Costello, Coldplay, and the New Pornographers. His work has been described as intuitive and creative. He can comfortably transition from a variety of styles, including rock, alternative, blues, punk, country, or something completely radical and new.
