We're looking for a third band the complete the line-up for a proberaum gig on November 6th. Hi We are 3 people between the ages of 38 and 49 who are forming a band right now but we are still looking for a decent lead guitarist to complete the setup. I would roughly describe the music we want to make as post punk/hardcore in the style of bands like defeater, turnstile, be well, shoreline, daggermouth, more than life, basement, title fight, just to name a few. First songs are already in progress and we all have 20+ years experience playing in a band. We are looking for someone who has experience, is reliable and has the same drive to make music as we do. Band is looking Heyy, me (18nb) and my friend (18m) have been jamming on an intermediate level for quite a while now (bass and guitar) and have come to the conclusion that we need a drummer. Mainly we compose originals in the indie / punkrock genre with the odd cover here and there, and occaisonally go busking with a hat. If we get really lucky, a gig or two even comes our way. Nonetheless we've decided that its time procure ourselves a new addition in the form of some live percussion rather than the digital backing tracks we usually use, prefereably under 35 and on a similar level as us. (English below) Moin, wir sind Hand Me Complaints Please und spielen seit 2019 einen Mix aus Emo, Screamo und einer Schippe Punk. Da uns letztes Jahr unser Sänger abhanden gekommen ist, suchen wir aktuell nach adäquatem Ersatz. Es wäre schön, wenn du ein bisschen Erfahrung mitbringen würdest und das Takthalten keine großen Schwierigkeiten bereitet. Generell sind uns Sicherheit am Mikro, Energie/Präsenz und Motivation sowie gute Texte wichtiger als technische Raffinesse oder eine Vocalrange über acht Oktaven. Ob Clean, in der Gegend rumschreien oder lautes Rufen wäre erstmal dir überlassen, solange sich das gut in unseren Sound integrieren lässt. Vorhandene Texte können übernommen werden, muss aber auch nicht. Auch, ob du auf deutsch oder englisch schreibst, stehen wir eher passiv gegenüber. Wir, Gitarre, Bass und Drums mit einem HC-/Punk- und DIY-Background, haben zwar jeweils gut 20 Jahre Banderfahrung, trotz dessen sind wir wahrlich keine Helden und Talentwettbewerbe würden wir auch nicht mehr gewinnen - das wird von dir ebenso nicht abverlangt. Davon abgesehen haben wir keine besonderen Ansprüche. Alter, Geschlecht, sexuelle Orientierung, Studium, Lohnarbeit oder Müßiggang, ob du Kommunist*in bist oder gerne Sukkulenten züchtest ist uns völlig schnuppe. Dafür haben wir für Antisemiten, Sexisten, homo- und transfeindliche Vollhonks, unpolitische Oi!-Heinis, Burzum-Shirts und Mackerattitüde keinen Platz in unserem Leben. Last year our singer left the band and we are currently looking for an adequate replacement. It would be nice if you're able to bring some experience to the table and keeping time didn't cause to much difficulty. In general, confidence on the mic, energy/presence and motivation aswell as good lyrics are more important to us than technical sophistication or a vocal range over eight octaves. Wether it's clean singing, screams or just shouting loudly would be up to you, as long as it can be integrated into our sound somewhat decent. Existing lyrics can be adopted but they don't have to be. We are also rather passive about wether you write in german or english. Despite the fact that we, guitar, bass and drums with a hc/punk and diy background, each have a good 20 years of experience, we're definitely not heroes on our instruments and we wouldn't win talent competitions anymore – that's not expected from you either. Apart from that we have no special requirements. We don't care about your age, gender, sexual orientation, if you study, work 9-5 or don't, wether you're a communist or really into growing succulents. However, we don't tolerate antisemites, sexists, homo- or transphobic idiots, apolitical Oi!-dudes, burzum shirts and dude bro/macho attitudes or any other discriminatory beheaviour. MusikerIn sucht Heyo, Ich bin 24 Jahre alt, spiele Schlagzeug (bisschen Bass & Gitarre) und habe Bühnen-und Studioerfahrung. Meine Lieblingsbands sind unter anderem Beatles, CAVA, Riot Spears, Bad Brains. Ich bin höre gerne verschiedene Genres. Im Rockbereich: 80/90er Punk, Indie-Rock und Lokale Undergroundbands. Mir ist sowohl der Spaß als auch regelmäßig Probe und würde gerne ca. 20 Auftritte im Jahr spielen :) Ich war in verschiedenen Bands und mein Ziel ist es "Oldschool-Style" mit einer Band auf Europa Tour zu gehen, kleinen Lokalen & Festivals zu spielen. I like to have fun as well as rehearse regularly and would like to play about 20 gigs a year :) I've been in several bands and my goal is to tour Europe "old school style" with a band, play small venues & festivals.
