18-24 Band Menschenmassen tanzen – die Instrumente glänzen im Scheinwerferlicht – die Bühne bebt mit dem Sound einer Bigband und der Performance einer echten Rock’n’Roll Band. Das ist und schafft Duke Brass. Seit 2015 bilden die fünf Bläser und ein Schlagzeuger eine Band. Angefangen hat es an der Musikschule im Blasorchester. Ursprünglich aus der klassischen Musik kommend sind sie nun in den Genres Pop, Rock, Jazz und EDM zuhause. Mit ihrer verrückt lässigen Art stehen die 6 Freunde auf der Bühne, zeigen was sie draufhaben und leben ihre Leidenschaft voll aus. In ihrem Konzertprogramm findet man viele Cover von allem was gerade in den Charts läuft und auf den Sommer-Festivals dieser Welt zu hören ist und kracht. Mehr und mehr spielen die Jungs aber auch eigene Musik. Jetzt könnte man sagen: „Covern kann heutzutage ja jeder!“, aber niemand tut es auf diese Art und Weise wie diese Band es macht. So haben sie ihren eigenen Stil kreiert, indem softe Sounds, technisch versierte Basslines und auch aggressive Klänge ihren Platz finden. Für jeden ist also etwas dabei, und mit dieser Liebe zur Musik und der Leidenschaft zu ihren Instrumenten, haben sie es geschafft, Blasmusik wieder partykonform zu machen! Die Jungs haben mehrfach für den Bundespräsidenten gespielt, waren live im Fernsehen zu sehen und waren beim Berliner Presseball zu Gast. Außerdem spielt Duke Brass regelmäßig auf Studentenpartys, Abibällen und auf Festivals.

Hello folks, I'm a former professional singer from Brazil who just moved to Berlin and is looking to mingle with the music scene here. I was singing professionally before coming here and have over 600 gigs under my belt, so I'm looking for relatively serious projects — either cover/tribute bands or original music. I'm a 28M bassist from Brazil and am looking to play original music within the realms of prog/stoner/psych/fusion/indie pop, either original compositions or improv, so no covers (unless it's something like King Crimson). Wir (3 m -1 x Bass, 2 x Gitarre - Anfang 40, teils instrumental, teils mit Gesang) haben ca. 10 fertige Songs und viele Ideen und einen Proberaum in Mitte, wo wir 1 x pro Woche proben. Wir spielen irgendwas zwischen Indie / Post Rock / Dream Pop. Wir präferieren eine Schlagzeugerin, da wir bisher auch in dieser Konstellation gespielt haben, und diese Mischung mögen. Wir haben keine professionellen Ambitionen, der Spaß am Musikmachen steht im Vordergrund. Gleichzeitig wollen wir regelmäßig an unseren Songs arbeiten, und als nächstes Ziel einen Live-Auftritt anvisieren. Our biggest and most important influences are Uriah Heep and Led Zeppelin. Our music should also be in this style. (Only the style is important, we are not a cover band). In general we love late 60's Blues Rock, all the wonderful 70's Classic / Hard / Progressive Rock, but also bands like Wolfmother, The Vintage Caravan or Kadavar and All Them Witches. We are looking for : someone for the bass, between 25 and 45, with the same passion for 70s vintage rock sound and lifestyle. If you love to play the bass and also have love for your sound and equipment, you are just right for us. First band/gig/recording experience would be an advantage. Our goal as a band: We want to make our own songs on a semi-professional level, create an album together, record it at some point, play gigs and also have a lot of great jam sessions and just have fun rocking together. Hi Peeps, I'll be real, as a Composer i suck at anything with recording. My vocals sound trash and my drums sound even worse. Everything i record just feels like a massively compressed piece of poop. SO as somebody studied composition who recently moved to berlin and has no idea of anything or know any producers here im looking to find someone who wants to help me turn my demo's into something a little less non-shit that i'd be content releasing into the world in my endeavor for "Mediocre pop so-so-ness". MusikerIn sucht hi, (bin weiblich, 22) und ich habe lust auf ein weiteres musikalisches Projekt! würde dort gerne in die Richtung dark-wave / synth-pop / art-rock gehen. ich liebe es aber auch, aus schon bereits existierenden Genres auszubrechen und sich von überall Elemente herauszupicken und diese miteinander zu kombinieren. ich habe band-erfahrung, spiele Klavier seit dem 5. Lebensjahr, fühle mich wohl an synths/keys, aber spiele auch etwas e-gitarre und experimentiere gerne mit Effekten rum. eine miteinander harmonierende Atmosphäre, Kreativität und ein bisschen Verrücktheit ist mir wichtiger als sich in diesem Genre festzunageln. deswegen schreib mir gern etwas über dich - und wir merken hoffentlich schnell ob wir auf einer Wellenlänge sind. 0176 56760710

SektSpätStück wirkt wie viel später Sekt am Stück für Ohr und Seele. Als “frech, aber alles andere als unsympathisch” beschrieb uns die Thüringer Allgemeine im Juni 2021. In unseren Studio-Aufnahmen sticken wir aus Wortspielen gewebte Texte in einen indie-poppigen Klangteppich. Live verwandeln wir unsere Lieder in akustische Arrangements, die wir mit Ukulele, Gitarre und Kontrabass begleitet mitreißend darbieten. Auf auffällig viel Rückmeldung stoßen dabei unsere Stimmen. Zuschauende sind davon nach unseren Konzerten immer wieder so berührt, dass sie händeringend nach Vergleichen für das eben Erlebte suchen. “June klingt so,wie wenn Nina Hagen, Marla Glen, Björk, Diamanda Galás und Judith Holofernes zusammen eine Tochter bekommen hätten.” Für Tim wurden dabei Größen wie Marius Müller Westernhagen, Rio Reiser und AnnenMayKantereit herangezogen. Sinahi hat ihre Stimme noch nicht live mit uns erklingen lassen. Die Proben lassen aber sehr schönes vermuten. Tim ist seit acht Jahren Berufsmusiker und bereits mit anderen Bands wie einsneunzig, Eva Niedermeier und Bazuka fest in der hessischen Indie-Pop-Szene verankert. Von abgesagten Festival-Gigs im ersten Corona-Sommer ließ er sich nicht beirren, sondern nutzte den Lockdown, um auch in Berlin, mit seiner Mitbewohnerin June Musik zu machen. SektSpätStück war geboren. June war vor Corona als Aktivistin für Workshops und Demonstrationen in ganz Deutschland unterwegs. Um den Auftritts- und Recording-Angeboten SektSpätStücks im Sommer 2021 gerecht werden zu können, kündigte sie ihren Job als Teamleitung bei Aktion gegen den Hunger. SektSpätStück ist seitdem noch öfter auf den Straßen und Bühnen dieses Landes zu sehen. Zwar sind die dadurch erspielten Mittel begrenzt, beim Potential von SektSpätStück sieht es dabei zum Glück ganz anders aus. Sinnbildlich dafür steht die Theater-Live-Session, die mit Sarah Lehnert (Y-Kollektiv, Spiegel, taz, n24, Die Zeit) und Nils Borzym (Footprint Project) zusammen am 15. Juli 2021 auf Youtube als Musikvideo von unserem zweiten Lied, dem "Krieg-Song" erschien. Sinahi ist seit zwei Monaten mit ihrem Kontrabass Teil der Band und hebt mit ihren Basslines die Lieder von SektSpätStück noch einmal auf ein ganz neues Niveau. Sie war vorher bereits mit einem profesionellen Orchester in der ganzen Welt auf Tournee und macht gerade eine musikpädagogische Ausbildung. Außerdem hat sie noch ein zweites, sehr verträumt-kuscheliges Musikprojekt, das bald seine erste EP veröffentlicht. Nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch menschlich passt es sehr gut zwischen uns drei. Proben und gemeinsame Aufnahmen im Studio sind für uns etwas, was wir regelmäßig und sehr gerne machen und auch noch durch das ein oder andere Getränk und Gespräch verlängern.

Band is looking Hey there, We’re Conor Corp we play indie pop/post-punk tunes here in Berlin. We’re looking for a (20-60 y/o m/f/x) keyboardist who’d be into playing some gigs with us (we’ve one in loophole in a month actually) and also work on some new tunes. We’re pretty easygoing dudes, I’m Conor (26), I sing/guitar/ableton shit and play with Uli (47) on bass and Rory (29) on drums. We are playing mostly originals, but adding composing more originals and covers as we go. Our influences are pretty varied, but mine for Conor Corp’s style would be: Talking Heads, MGMT, Women, Surf Curse, Parquet Courts, Beach Fossils, Mac Demarco, Current Joys. Must be able to practice 1 time a week in bergmannkiez with us. And play the odd show on the weekends. Band is looking Singer wanted (any gender) for two-piece acoustic band. The band will play a mix of ballads and party tunes but it will be all popular well-known stuff. Basically all the crowd pleasers. Pink floyd, david bowie, fleetwood mac all the way to robbie williams, the killers, bruno mars, coldplay, cranberries etc.. All hits. Hallo, wir suchen eine neue Schlagzeugerin, da unsere bisherige Drummerin leider keine Zeit mehr hat. Wir (1 x Bass, 2 x Gitarre) haben einen Proberaum in Mitte, wo wir 1 x pro Woche proben, und machen irgendwas zwischen Indie / Post Rock / Dream Pop. Wir haben keine professionellen Ambitionen, der Spaß am Musikmachen steht im Vordergrund. Gleichzeitig wollen wir regelmäßig an unseren Songs arbeiten, und als nächstes Ziel einen Live-Auftritt im nächsten Frühjahr anvisieren. Wir wünschen uns daher jemanden, die Lust darauf hat und sowohl entspannt als auch verlässlich ist.
