Einflüsse: Als wohl stärksten Einfluss ist Metallica zu nennen, durch den ich erst so richtig zur Musik gekommen bin. Es hat mich [damals gerade 14 Jahre alt geworden] fasziniert was alles mit einer Gitarre möglich ist. Durch meine langanhaltende Phase als "Metalhead" haben mich unzählige weitere Metalbands inspiriert (vorallem Thrash-Metal und Metalcore Bands). Das Tempo und die Spieltechnik der Gitarristen aus dem Metalgenre verblüfft mich bis heute immer wieder. Als ich mich dann näher für den theoretischen Teil der Musik interessiert habe, kam ich zum Jazz. Als Einflüsse hier unbedingt erwähnenswert: Pat Martino und Wes Montgomery. Der stetige Wechsel von Konsonanz und Dissonanz, die "schiefe" aber nicht "scheisse" klingende Melodieführung und generell die Harmonie macht den Jazz für mich attraktiv.

The sound I am aiming for is jazz-influenced harmony with some 'unconventional' chord progressions in a rock context (verse and chorus structures with solo sections (sometimes extended solo sections :) ). My main inspirations for this project come from Steely Dan (for the fancy yet accessible songwriting) and The Allman Brothers (for the extended instrumental jams that I also have in mind.
