Some songs have a dark edgy vibe, and others are totally goofy. When I perform I do live drumming and also live vocals for some of the songs. But most of my songs feature female singers, so I always need to perform with backing track. I’m sure my music is one-of-a-kind but I haven’t been able to have any organic growth in 3 years of trying lol….. My Bio- n early 2022, 16-year-old songwriter and -instrumentalist Laura Lang, burst onto the music scene with her poignant debut EP, All Downhill From There. Not even a year later, Memphis-based Lang has released her sophomore EP, Bad Luck, a collection of hard-hitting indie rock songs that capture a coming-of-age love story from Lang’s fresh, distinctive perspective. A passionate and tumultuous 7-song EP, Bad Luck’s overall sound diverts from the softer indie-folk-pop of Lang’s debut, and expands on the 17-year-old songwriter’s uncommon poise, candor, and musical precision. With self-awareness and conviction, Lang’s uses her natural gift for introspective and lyrical songwriting on Bad Luck as she processes the elated beginnings of a new relationship in, “Black Sedan,” the stark and unkind realities of love in title track “Bad Luck,” and, in final track “Goodbye/Biggest Fan,” a bittersweet ending. JazzHip-HopBand is looking Hey! We´re a bassist & a drummer looking for musicians (although mostly for guitar and/or keyboard) to complete our small rhythm section. We aim at playing groovy modern jazz with a lot of RnB and hip hop influences, but aren´t set on anything specific. The idea is to casually write good music, collaborate with different musicians, play shows whenever opportunities come in and have fun. We play on a semi-pro level, meaning that we don´t, nor have plans to, do music for a living, but we do play on a somewhat higher level (holding pocket in different styles, utilizing jazz harmonies and melodies, improvising etc.). Having said that - we´re not snobs and won´t raise our noses at nobody, so if you feel this might be a good fit - please hit us up! We speak German and English

Looking for drummer
MetalRockJazzHip-HopBand is looking Hey we are looking for a drummer. We do music with German lyrics, so far somewhere between Faber, MeyKantereit, but there is still plenty room for new influence. Line-up so far: male singer, piano/accordion, bass/contrabass. The bassist did HipHop in the past, listens to Primus/RHCP etc, the singer sang in many RockCoverbands and the pianist plays normally jazz standards. The goal would be to work towards regular gigs soon. We are open to new influences and ideas, would be happy to welcome a new band member :)
