I've been in theater and on stage, and have sung on several tracks that range from punk, electronic, R&B, hip hop, pop, and rock. I've been writing songs with my brother (on and off) since I was 12, and often write my own stuff. My brother James has been writing music and singing since as long as I can remember. He's been involved in many projects that range from Punk, Metal, Electronic, Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, and of course the occasional comedic song. He's a vocalist and songwriter that has been in several bands in the past. He has been writing, engineering, and producing music since he was 16. He is also currently working on a soundtrack with scoring for an upcoming film. Together, we've been creating music for the last few months and now we have about 45 minutes of material. We would love for the right people to join us playing them out. Our sound blends a mix of new wave, post-punk, pop-punk, punk-punk, rock, metal, grunge, classical, electronic and pop (but not at all like Justin Bieber or boy bands). We draw influence from several artists including She Wants Revenge, Weezer, David Bowie, Billy Idol, Radiohead, Cigarettes After Sex, System of a Down, Screeching Weasel, Pat Benatar, and Susan Vega. We are looking for laid back, dependable and enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our project. Sticks hatte ich zum letzten Mal vor gut drei Jahren in der Hand. Erst einmal wird also alles eingerostet sein, aber ich weiß hoffentlich schon noch, wie man spielt ... Ruhigeren Settings war ich lange überdrüssig, würde aber eine Jazz-Combo nicht von vorneherein ausschließen. Ich wäre an Fusion, psychodelischerem Stoner und/oder progressiverem Rock interessiert, nicht an klassischem Rock, Punk oder Metal. Space Rock, auch Dream Pop fände ich interessant.     35-54 Songwriter Erfahren Jau! Ich spiele seit 25 Jahren Schlagzeug und schreibe auch ganze Songs (sowohl Metal als auch Beats für Rap - wobei ich Beides trenne). Musik ist meine Leidenschaft und bedeutet mir (fast) alles, sowohl als Fan als auch als Musiker. Meine Band heißt "VIJERIAH" (Song unten verlinkt, live inaktiv) und wir arbeiten an einem Album (9 Songs, bei denen eigentlich nur noch einige Gitarren-Parts fehlen), es gibt aber darüber hinaus keine Kontingente. Daher suche ich - auch gegen Bezahlung - Musiker, die für mein Rhythmus Metal-Projekt "TRACHEA" (DEMO-Link s. u.) die Gitarren einspielen und gern mit ihrer eigenen Note versehen (was sicher auch so sein muss, damit es den Beteiligten Spaß macht) - es fehlen teilweise u. a. Sachen wie Whammy-Effekte, Bendings, Obertöne, Dive-Bombs, mehr Flächen. Alles, was das Spiel lebendiger klingen lässt, atmosphärischer macht und was mit programmierten Gitarren für mich nicht nachbildbar ist. Bzw. gar kaum zu programmieren. Zudem klingen meine "Schlagzeug"-beeinflussten Gitarren oft zu statisch. Ich selbst spiele rhythmusbasierte Riffs auf meiner Ibanez RG 2228, aber bin weit entfernt von Fertigkeiten, meine geschriebenen Sachen einzuspielen. Die aktuell 8 Songs (+ ggf. noch 2 Bonus-Songs, neu interpretierte Cover) sind weitestgehend geschrieben und präsentierbar, aber noch im Feinschliff. - Wenn es sich entwickelt, können sie auch gemeinsam noch umgeschrieben werden. Wichtig ist ein gemeinsames musikalisches Veständnis und Bock auf den Musik-Stil (eher komplex, Tuning: F#, G#, Rhythmen, Atmosphäre, verrückte Effekte). Den Gesang (Growls/Screams/Clean) übernehme ich, mir geht es in erster Linie um die musikalische Umsetzung meiner geschriebenen Stücke. Live-Performance (also klassische 'Band') ist aktuell nicht geplant. Beispiele für meine Einflüsse und meinen favorisierten Metal-Musikgeschmack seht ihr bei "Lieblingskünstler". Beste Produzenten derzeit sind für mich Buster Odeholm und Nolly Getgood. Rap mache ich seit ca. 20 Jahren - mein Name ist "Gift" (www.youtube.com/giftig oder Soundcloud: /esistgift). Musically it must be Symphonic Black Metal, quite close to what I've described in the title: "Nightwish meets Dimmu Borgir and Septicflesh". My vocals (very powerful lyric dramatic soprano) can cover styles similar to Nightwish, Within Temptation and Arch Enemy. The main goal is, however, to use more of my classical voice than "growling", since most of my experience come from the classical style. It would be optimal if musicians had a good understanding for composing (and not only playing). There are musical "drafts" and even a couple of almost finished tracks (without vocals so far).     Ciao! Sto cercando musicisti italiani (o che parlino bene italiano) qui a Berlino per avviare un progetto strumentale che esplori a fondo il mondo del Doom in tutte le sue sfumature. Vorrei costruire una line-up affiatata, partendo da brani che ci piacciono per trovare intesa e visione comune, fino ad arrivare a composizioni originali capaci di evocare emozioni forti e profonde come: paura, tensione, trance, estasi. 🎧 Instrumental: voglio concentrarmi sul suono, sulla dinamica e sulla ricerca di atmosfere ipnotiche, senza l’ingombro di testi spesso inutili o fuori fuoco. Il suono deve parlare da sé. 🔊 Chi sono: Classe ’72, bassista, straight-edge dal lontano ’85. Amo creare un suono unico per ogni brano, un’identità sonora che non metta in risalto il musicista, ma la musica stessa. Accordo il basso in Drop C o Drop B, intonato tra 432 e 436 Hz per una sensazione più profonda e organica. 🎯 Cerco 1 batterista 1 chitarrista (no shredder) oppure 1 tastierista Persone serie, motivate, capaci di ascoltare, improvvisare, proporre.
