I'm looking to connect with local bands, touring acts, or recording projects that may need a seasoned drummer to fill in or collaborate with. A bit about me: I am highly versatile across all genres, including rock, jazz, R&B, hip hop, modern country, and pop. I play by ear and can adapt to any beat—whether soft and subtle or powerful and driving. I also play a bit of bass and piano, and I have a solid foundation in music theory—not formally trained to a high level, but enough to write, learn, and communicate ideas comfortably. Some of my biggest influences are Hole, Elliott Smith, Heatmiser, and Sonic Youth. I also love artists like Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, Duke Ellington, Wes Montgomery, and plenty of other classics. My taste is pretty broad just as most people, ranging from Punk, indie rock, folk, blues, jazz, and classic rock or whatever you would call the influences mentioned. Lately I've also been working on my vocals for about a year and a half. I'm still learning, but I'd really like to sing more and see where it goes. Hello everybody! I’m Zoe (30) looking for interested musicians for an experimental rock/metal-adjacent band project. This is meant as a serious project with potential to hopefully release original music and regularly perform at some point, but it should always come with a start, meaning no rush and pressure from the get go, and just jam :) I’m a singer who tries to compose music from time to time and learn music theory on her own. I’m also a huge music nerd who can just talk about music and music theory for hours. My biggest influences are in post-punk, art rock, industrial rock/metal, no wave, experimental electronics and alternative metal. I’m also really interested in jazz influences and unorthodox song/rhythm structures in these genres (The Mars Volta, Refused, Mr. Bungle, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Black Country New Road, The Lounge Lizards, Squid could be first examples).
