Hey 👋 I recently moved to Germany for a new job from out of country. I’m living in Braunschweig but it’s easy to go to Berlin every weekend by train. My music is all original pop/hip-hop/dance (Simulated Youth is my performance name). Some songs have a dark edgy vibe, and others are totally goofy. When I perform I do live drumming and also live vocals for some of the songs. But most of my songs feature female singers, so I always need to perform with backing track.
I’m sure my music is one-of-a-kind but I haven’t been able to have any organic growth in 3 years of trying lol….. Now that I’m in Germany, I want to form a band and see if that’s the missing piece of the puzzle 😈 “strength in numbers” as they say

Btw, I am Ukrainian, 39, live in Berlin over 5 years (now in the middle of Wedding and P-Berg), have my own music gear (it's Fender Telecaster and Gibson SG and the nice minimum set of 6 pedals that I have curated)
Have total guitar skills of about 4 years and during the last 12 months I am going to the rehearsals almost each week with my current band.

Hey hey, I’m a female (24) American in Berlin looking to start a band. I sing, play the acoustic rhythm guitar fairly well, and the fiddle. I write my own music, but I’m wanting to work with musicians with whom I can collaborate and write. I’m no opera singer or anything, but my voice is unique and can adapt to a wide range of genres. I have been on the stage since I was like 11 years old, and writing my own songs since I was writing my first words.
Genres ; literally down for anything, with live shows in mind and something that can connect well with an audience. Most of the songs I’ve written have leaned more indie folk rock, story telling-style but not sleepy. Valentino here, 31y.o., intermediate-level guitarist playing for over 10 years now. I love music, and guitars in particular (I REALLY love them, I am kind of a guitar geek actually!), but haven't got much opportunity to meet musicians in Berlin so far.
I am looking for other musicians to play regularly and have fun together, and get serious writing our own music if we feel like (would appreciate that, but not a must.. what matters is to enjoy playing music!).
I listen to a lot of different music, from blues, jazz and folk to stoner, nu-metal, prog-metal, post-rock etc. But to give you an idea, some of my favourite bands are Alter Bridge, Linking Park, Tool... let's say that those genres would be my first choice, but would love to play other stuff as well.
I am very motivated, and can commit to rehearsal time every weekend. During the week I may be up for a late afternoon/evening jam as well, but cannot guarantee due to my job.

I'm Looking for a Co-Performer: Are You Tired of Performing Solo Too?

I have been in Berlin for 5 years performing mostly as an acoustic Singer - Songwriter but, I have evolved my sound. My new sound is more mixture of post-punk/80’s new wave and electronic dance. Put another way, imagine if Erasure had a baby with Annie Lennox with the cool aunt being PJ Harvey and the cool uncle being New Order.
My new sound does not work solo and I would like to find a co-performer(s) who is/are in a similar position: An act that needs more fore live support. This is more than forming a “band”, it is about growing professionally as independent musicians and making a go of it. Some may call this “collaboration” but my approach to collaboration is a bit different.
I have worked with another musician (Matthew Presidente) in the past but, unfortunately they are in Canada. Like myself he is also a lead / independent musician with his own catalogue. What we did is when I had a show he would back me (keys and backing vox), when he had a show I would back him (guitar and backing vox). We have also written and recorded some songs together (PRO registered) and we help each other out with our respective independent projects. We often would do a show with each performing a full set locking in a full night. I am hoping to find a “co-performer” here in Berlin that I can build a similar relationship.
What am I looking for:
I am looking for somebody who can bring keys and backing vocals to the stage with me. Performances would also include some backing track support (drums/beats and bass lines). I would also what to have somebody to work with for writing and developing songs. In regards to writing, any songs fully written together would have share of ownership registered with respective PRO’s. Obviously we need to have sounds that complement each other.
About you:
You are an independent musician and you have been at this for a while. You have a good catalogue and you want to take your performances to the next level. You are passionate about music, comfortable on stage and are committed to try and make some money as an independent musician. I am open to whomever you are but you must be LGBTQ+ positive. You should also be available to tour the EU and UK.

My Bio- n early 2022, 16-year-old songwriter and -instrumentalist Laura Lang, burst onto the music scene with her poignant debut EP, All Downhill From There. Not even a year later, Memphis-based Lang has released her sophomore EP, Bad Luck, a collection of hard-hitting indie rock songs that capture a coming-of-age love story from Lang’s fresh, distinctive perspective.
A passionate and tumultuous 7-song EP, Bad Luck’s overall sound diverts from the softer indie-folk-pop of Lang’s debut, and expands on the 17-year-old songwriter’s uncommon poise, candor, and musical precision. With self-awareness and conviction, Lang’s uses her natural gift for introspective and lyrical songwriting on Bad Luck as she processes the elated beginnings of a new relationship in, “Black Sedan,” the stark and unkind realities of love in title track “Bad Luck,” and, in final track “Goodbye/Biggest Fan,” a bittersweet ending.

With that in mind, Bad Luck, produced by Calvin Lauber (Julien Baker) and production duo Collin Pastore and Jake Finch (Lucy Dacus), balances Lang’s tender vocals and smooth melodies with boiling guitar fills, pointed lyrics, and swelling production—a glimpse into the feelings of confusion, detachment, and isolation Lang often contends with.
Still, in defiance of the EP’s title, chosen in reference to the way her disorder and failed relationships can make her feel, Lang’s imaginative songcraft on Bad Luck, out November 18th, spins sun-gold from the darkness.
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Laura Lang has been singing for as long as she can remember and writing songs on piano, guitar, and ukulele since 11 years-old. In middle school, she began deeply listening to artists like Lana Del Ray and Fiona Apple, drawn to their self-possessed and creative storytelling. “Music definitely gives me that freeing feeling where there are no limits,” said Lang. “It's just endless what you can do with a guitar and your voice and songwriting.”
Having struggled with mental health since she was 13, Lang has long used her tender, emotive songwriting, as well as surreal visual art, as a way of casting light on her experience the world and channeling her boundless creative energy. “My BPD gives me the ability to zoom out and zoom in on myself and my life really well and, though my life would be easier without it, I do see it as a gift,” says Lang.
In addition to releasing her two EPs, Lang, who is currently a senior in high school, performs locally, and is in the process of putting together a band to tour with as soon as next year.

I`m Dom (m/22), searching for a Band to adopt me or someone open minded to jam with and maybe build our own little project.
I've been playing the guitar for 8 years now, mainly into metal stuff (like Metallica, Megadeth, Sabbath, [Children of Bodom, Dream Theater]), but also pretty interested in other styles (Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Rory Gallagher for example). Jamming out there since a year with different people, have written some ideas and even whole Songs (only guitar and dynamics), recently worked on a project called bateau ivre (it`s like a guitar-orchestra in Pink Floyd Style) and been in a black metal band.
Goals for me are making some original music, maybe some covers in our own way, going on stage, grow and maybe earn some money, but that`s more imagination at the moment.
