Hey folks, Drummer looking for musicians to form a band and already established bands/artists that are seeking drummer in Berlin. Me and my fellow guitarist have around 30 songs done, ready to play live (he’s just writing stuff, not gonna be playing live). Band is looking Hey there, We are a punk rock band with heavier influence looking for a new bass player who has plenty of experience on stage (small, big, all kind of venues) and with professional recordings. We have experience playing in small/big venues, opening for international bands, touring and recording professionally from our previous bands outside Europe. The idea is to learn from our past experiences and build from there the restart of this new project before the end of year. We are in the works restarting the project, but coming strong. We got several songs already done, the rest are in the works so plenty of room to bring your soul into the project. Most decently recorded for internal rework. The band aims at a music mix between Rise Against, Propagandhi, Sum41 (heavier parts), Pennywise, Bad Religion, etc. Bass line wise, the music style is quite compatible with scale style bass (think of rancid or anti flag) with lots of aggressive energy and riffs. We also have a couple of semi acoustic ones for balance. In general, the goal is to find the right “click” music and vision wise as well as personally. We don’t want big egos, arrogance or entitlement. We like to work our asses off for the same dream and goal! If you’re into this kind of music with lots of critical thinking, social criticism, hope and dystopian concepts in the lyrics themes, you may be who we need! I’m looking for a cajón player—ideally someone with Latin-inspired rhythm—to join me for a few acoustic gigs in July and August. The style is intimate indie-folk with a rhythmic twist—somewhere between Nick Drake, Mojave 3, and Latin fusion. We’d start as a duo (guitar + cajón) for smaller shows, unplugged sets—but we also have a bass/keys player joining for some scaled-up sets, so the full sound has room to grow. As the title suggests I'm envisioning an alternative folk band using film scoring of Thomas Newman as our starting point for our timbre and tonal foundation and Alt-J as a structural basis. So imagine soft sounds with dramatic peaks both in instrumentation and singing. I would love to organise a jam session! Band is looking We are three musicians: singer/ songwriter; keyboards; guitar. We have reached the mastering phase for18 well-produced (acoustic/ electronic) songs and would like to assemble a high level live project for filming performances/ promo videos/ possible touring. The music is very catchy and very strange. ***INFLUENCES: Bowie, Waits, Little Richard, Tindersticks, Gorillaz, James Brown, The Clash, Eno, Goldfrapp, Sly Stone, Meshell Ndegeocello, King Crimson, Jeff Buckley, Doo Woop. ***NEEDED: responsible, creative musician (percussion? keys?), who can also sing backing, able to commit to learning the material. Wir wünschen uns eine neue Kollegin, die sich in unser Netz einfügt. Die Spaß an unserer Musik hat und in der Gruppe aufgeht. Backing Vocals und Mobilität sicher vorteilhaft, aber nicht Bedingung. Synthesizer ist vorhanden! Ausgestatteter Proberaum in Berlin-Stresow (S3, S9, Bus 130) vorhanden. Proben üblicherweise 1x wöchentlich. Normalerweise Freitag, aber recht flexibel. Wir spielen gern live, durchschnittlich etwa 5-10 mal im Jahr in Bars, auf Privatfeiern und kleinen Festivals. Überwiegend im ostdeutschen Raum (Berlin, Brandenburg, Sachsen, S‑Anhalt). Wir sind derzeit zu viert, unsere Musik lässt sich am ehesten unter Darkwave und Gothic Rock einordnen. Jeder gibt ein wenig von seiner Färbung dazu – so haben wir auch Einschläge etwa aus Punkrock, Ska, Jazz, Folk und ein wenig Metal. Eigenes Material, keine Cover. Bisher wurden vier CDs aufgenommen, eine EP sowie Videodreh sind für 2025 in Planung. Website und Social Media derzeit im Umbau. We play a mix of songs, and classic jigs/reels. We're mostly in our 30s and live around Kreuzberg/South/West Berlin. Open to all levels and ages.
