Hi there! I'm looking for someone that plays the Keys - I have a regular slot on Sundays in a room in Moabit and would like to put some songs together there. Genre is psychedelic/rock/funky (open to mutations). In my ideal dream world I'd like to both mix the Doors organ sounds with some improvisation on keys but also cater the electro side - so some beats, abletonstyle elements etc to make it new and hip. Regarding the current situation: We have a very good drummer, but currently a bit limited timewise due to parenting. Bassist also there, Singer also in limited capacity. We have very good recording setup + materials, with mixing capabilities and home studios and our drummer beeing a pro sound engineer - so we can produce very good stuff. Currently I have some songs that need to be finished in home studio and could use keyboard - you could participate there. And in general the idea is to develop/arrange new pieces, and find a way to record them and perform them live - if you're good in putting together beats we could maybe survive for a while with limited time capacity of drummer and perform. Otherwise we may need to get someone to play with us. The first step would be to arrange/record some songs, rehearse them, maybe test in small stages. So basically I'd need a sort of partner in crime to also collab with developing this artistically. I'm a firm believer in jamming to develop new pieces, so if you like that aswell would be awesome. Hier geht’s um eine neue Band, die so auch hätte in den Achtzigern spielen können, also New Wave, Synthwave etc., aber nicht um Covers (die wird’s nicht geben). Willkommen sind alle Instrumente (außer Gitarre, sorry) und Ideen. Diese Gruppe soll als Team alles zusammen erarbeiten – natürlich auch die Songs. Wir wollen nicht vermeintlich bessere alte Zeiten bejubeln (sie waren nicht besser). Vielmehr sollen Achtziger-Sounds im Mittelpunkt stehen, weitergedacht und ins Heute übertragen. Was meinste? THE PRESENT can be quite sobering. Are you coming with us into the eighties? This is about a new band that could have played like this in the eighties, i.e. New Wave, Synthwave etc., but not about covers (there won't be). All instruments (except guitar, sorry) and ideas are welcome. This group is supposed to work out everything together as a team – including the songs, of course. We don't want to celebrate supposedly better old days (they weren't better). Rather, the focus should be on eighties sounds, thought through further and transferred to the present day. I already have a couple of personal music project by myself in electronic music. Since I’m also a guitarist (/synths enthusiast) and a metalhead it would be cool to share my passion in different directions with other music enthusiasts. Im a fan of meshuggah, gojira, tool, arch enemy and so on plus all the classics of course. I’m a young Copenhagen rock musician based in Berlin. I released my Debut album “Carry Home Your Circus” September 10 2021 and I’m currently in the studio recording a follow up. I’m a guitarist and vocalist. My music is an experimental sound of found streams, at times Musique concrète, and raw drum and percussive loops to poetry, prose and singing, and crackling loud electric guitars. My music and lyrics are primarily influenced by the noisy ambient and to me mystic rhythms and people from the noise of urban surroundings and experimental punk and jazz..
