    Band is looking Hi. My name is Andrej. I am searching for a synth player for my music project. I write and produce songs while my friend takes care of the bass parts. Currently we play live as a duo with my friend on the bass and me on the vocals and rhythm guitar. There is an album in the works which also includes drums and a synth line. Influences: Mac DeMarco, Beach House, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Donny Benet More info: The plan for live shows is to keep drums on playback and add a person for the synth parts. Ideally I am looking for someone who is okay with playing my material and adapt to the needs of the songs that are written. I am not against creative input, and am willing to put them on future recordings, but everything needs to work with what I am going for stylistically. A female voice for backing vocals is a big plus. I am also open to beginner keyboard players, as long as you can do basics like rhythmically playing an extended chord with both of your hands.     Psychedelic/Funky Band looking for Key + Synth Player for Recording + Gigs

    Hi! Psychedelic/Funky Project consisting of Vocals, Bass, Drums, Guitar is looking for a Synth Player as a proper member of the band. We usually unite in Moabit in a room on Sundays. Sometimes we do extra rehearsals in Noisy Rooms aswell. We're in the middle of recording an Album and want to finish and album to use it to apply for liveshows in 2024. We've got over 8 Songs layed out, and operate with a heavy focus on recording/jamming - so we do a structure with vocals guitar, play it, then take it into jam, structure again, record etc until it feels right. One of a members is an experienced sound engineer so recording quality is pretty awesome, we play together live and recording to get the feeling down. Later guitar/bass/vocals/synth can be recorded via home studio. We also got some video recording capability in the band and everyone has live experience etc Ideally we'd love to have a bit of a synth lover that likes to experiment with sounds, is good in improvising/doing stuff by ear but may also have some theoretical knowledge (not a must). Some cool berlin electro sounds could also be very interesting. If you got some home recording setup so we can send you files and you record your stuff over it that would also be super nice. We're doing Logic at the moment but can track bounce so you can use other software aswell. One thing to take into account is that two of our members are shortly soon going into baby break, which is also a reason why we are so recording focussed. So we'll pretty much have to work with what we have. But nevertheless we're covinced that it's worth it and that we're going to get some good stuff out that we can perform next year. From the Indie Rock bands that I love - it's "Radiohead", "Oasis", "RHCP", "Yeah Yeah Yeahs", "Daughter" etc. From the other well known and different stuff I am passionate of ZZTop, Rolling Stones, Tool, Nirvana, Metallica, Within Temptation, A7X, Lacuna Coil, Linkin Park, Korn, Depeche Mode, IAMX etc. Btw, I am Ukrainian, 39, live in Berlin over 5 years (now in the middle of Wedding and P-Berg), have my own music gear (it's Fender Telecaster and Gibson SG and the nice minimum set of 6 pedals that I have curated) Have total guitar skills of about 4 years and during the last 12 months I am going to the rehearsals almost each week with my current band. I've been playing the guitar for 8 years now, mainly into metal stuff (like Metallica, Megadeth, Sabbath, [Children of Bodom, Dream Theater]), but also pretty interested in other styles (Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Rory Gallagher for example). Jamming out there since a year with different people, have written some ideas and even whole Songs (only guitar and dynamics), recently worked on a project called bateau ivre (it`s like a guitar-orchestra in Pink Floyd Style) and been in a black metal band. Goals for me are making some original music, maybe some covers in our own way, going on stage, grow and maybe earn some money, but that`s more imagination at the moment.     Wenn heute laut einer Studie nur eine von fünf Frauen über ihre Menstruation spricht, ist das Frauen*blut noch immer ein Tabuthema. Kann der Umgang mit Frauen*blut ein Beispiel darstellen für gesellschaftliche Einschreibungsprozesse? Wie sind Körperbilder durch den gesellschaftlichen Umgang mit der Menstruation geprägt. Wie kann somatische Bewegungsforschung zu diesem Thema die Beziehung zu den eigenen Geschlechtsorganen und zur Menstruation verändern? Als Tänzer*in, Choreographin und somatische Bewegungspädagogin forsche ich zu dem Zusammenhang zwischen Körperbildern und dem Menstruationstabu. Diese Fragen erforsche ich in Bewegung und suche dazu eine interessierte Musiker*in, die Interesse an dieser Forschung hat und an einem künstlerischen Austausch zwischen Musik und Bewegung/Tanz interessiert ist.

    Hiya music lover. I am looking to start an amateur orchestra and musical community group in Berlin. It will be open to… All abilities / All instruments / All ages / All walks of life. If you’re interested, then read on... Berlin’s music scene is brilliant but if you’re not in a band, a DJ, or a classically-trained musician playing at the Philharmonie then you can feel a bit left out. I believe a modern orchestra can be made up of anyone. I believe a modern orchestra should play both Vivaldi and Bach as well as music by female, Black and other underrepresented composers from across the centuries. All I have is an idea. I am hoping you would love to join me in finding new members and a (free or cheap) rehearsal space where we can meet, socialise, and practice. And hopefully, if we’re comfortable enough, play a concert to an audience one day. If something similar to what I have described already exists (and it might do!), then please let me know.
