I listen to and am inspired by very different styles of music from classical music, jazz, blues to metal. A few bands/artists that I really like are (in no particular order) Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Jethro Tull, The Aristocrats, Cynic, Gojira, Dream Theater, Mono, Paul Desmond, Miles Davis, Sergei Prokofiev, Sergei Rachmaninoff...
I don't have any particular plan where this collaboration should develop, for now what I want to do is play music with other people and have fun together.

Hey,
we are drummer/vocals (32) and guitar/vocals (36) and we are just starting a rock band in the spirit of 70s rock. Our biggest and most important influences are Uriah Heep and Led Zeppelin. Our music should also be in this style. (Only the style is important, we are not a cover band). In general we love late 60's Blues Rock, all the wonderful 70's Classic / Hard / Progressive Rock, but also bands like Wolfmother, The Vintage Caravan or Kadavar and All Them Witches.
We are looking for :
someone for the bass, between 25 and 45, with the same passion for 70s vintage rock sound and lifestyle. If you love to play the bass and also have love for your sound and equipment, you are just right for us.
First band/gig/recording experience would be an advantage.
Our goal as a band:
We want to make our own songs on a semi-professional level, create an album together, record it at some point, play gigs and also have a lot of great jam sessions and just have fun rocking together. The interpersonal relationship should therefore fit in any case.
At the moment we have rented a temporary rehearsal room so that we can meet for a jam session at any time to see if it fits.

Momentan haben wir einen temporären Proberaum angemietet sodass wir uns jederzeit für eine Jamsession treffen können um zu sehen, ob es passt.

Hallo, ich spiele Bass, suche eine Band, eine/n Schlagzeuger/in oder andere. Werde jetzt nach längerer Pause wieder aktiv, gerne auch auf der Bühne. Bass ist von 1994, E- Gitarre von 1975, ich ein bißchen älter.
Habe mehr Erfahrung mit Improvisation und Jammen als mit Noten, lerne aber gerne. Band oder Duo nur mit Drums oder anderem Instrument wäre schön. Spiele auch E-Gitarre, etwas klassische Gitarre, bin für fast alles offen, kann aber nicht alles, erstmal sehen was noch geht..

Martin (22 - Bass), Jerry (21 - Guitar), and Levin (21 - Drums) are looking for a male Singer to join a 4-piece Rock Band. The goal is to compose original material, play live shows, produce records, and go on tour, to which practice and commitment are necessary.
We love to write songs, but need someone beside us in this musical journey; our future bandmate should be able to bring interesting ideas to the table, without letting his ego take control, and serve the song. Your musical background, compositional design, and taste will shape our sound.
Our main influences for this project are:
- Desert / Stoner Rock of the '90 [e.g. Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Colour Haze, Orange Goblin, Lowrider]
- Grunge/Alternative Rock of the 90's [Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Muse, Nirvana, Rage against the machine]
- Classic / Hard / Blues / Psych / Prog Rock and Proto Metal of the '70 [e.g. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Trouble, Black Sabbath]
- Doom / Stoner / Sludge Metal of the early '2000 [e.g. Bongzilla, Black Label Society, Sleep, Weedeater, Electric Wizard]
The idea is to always maintain heavy tones, but varying between fast-paced and calmer songs, from groovy tunes to slow movements. Never commercial, nor too experimental, always keeping the right balance.

Meine Musikrichtung bewegt sich von Blues, Stoner Rock bis hin zu Doom.
Bands wie All Them Witches, Asteroid, Madmess, Led Zeppelin, aber auch Karma to Burn, oder Kyuss begeistern mich. Ich bin eine Gitarrist(in), spielte lange klassisch Gitarre, aber auch mehr als 2 Jahr E- Gitarre. Etwas selten in "Genre", ist mir bewusst. Gesang kommt fuer mich eher nicht in Frage (zu feminim in meinem Geschmack, oder nicht genuegend im Bariton Bereich), dennoch spiele ich Gitarre aus Leidenschaft und beschaeftige mich auch mit Recording Software Tools um die geschriebene Songs abzumischen.

Starting a neo-soul/rnb/funky band with some blues/rock influences. Looking for a drummer who just wants to sit in a pocket and groove. Currently have some song written and are working on more. Not the best of musiscians but are sure damn passionate and serious about getting something going.

(tl;dr - emoviolence, hardcore-punk, 90s emo/post-hardcore)
bassist aus überzeugung (das sternchen signalisiert lediglich, dass ich ebenfalls adäquat mit der gitarre umgehen kann, mir aber entsprechendes equipment fehlt und ich im bandkontext, abgesehen vom songwriting, keine großen ambitionen pflege, diese zu übernehmen) mit 15 jahren erfahrung (band/live/studio) im spannungsfeld punk/hardcore/screamo/emo/postrock und schießmichtot, ü30 und bis heute schwer unerfolgreich \o/
anvisierte richtung: screamo/emoviolence ala orchid, ampere, battle of wolf 359, reversal of man und der ganze ebullition-/gravity-records-schmonz – klingt ja eh alles gleich.
auch könnte ich mir emo/post-hardcore zwischen mitte 90er und frühe 00er gut vorstellen: shotmaker, four hundred years, twelve hour turn, ten grand (und mehr bands mit zahlen im namen fallen mir im moment nicht ein).
hardcore-punk/fastcore/powerviolence/san-diego-weirdness der marke ds13, scholastic deth, rorschach, born against, spazz, charles bronson, swing kids, holy molar und some girls als dritte option.
ich bin zwar stilistisch nicht festgefahren, möchte aber gerne in einem bereich rumstümpern, in dem ich über eine gewisse expertise verfüge bzw. mit dem ich sozialisiert wurde.
somit habe ich keinerlei interesse an stoner/doom/sludge, ska, deutschrock, metal (nein, auch kein new/brutal/slam/death/black/heavy oder viking-gefiedel) und alles mit den präfixen melodic, blues, funk, folk, party, cover oder alternative.
und da musik machen mehr beinhaltet als ebendieses habe ich keine rechte lust auf antisemiten/antizionisten, sexisten, homo- und trans“phobe“ vollhonks, besorgte bürger, afd-/cdu-wähler, burzum-shirts, flat-earther, impfgegner, reichsbürger, „jüdische reptiloide planen in der hohlerde mittels skalarwellen die neue weltordnung“-krakeler und sonstiger schmutz.
abgesehen davon ist mir alles egal: alter, geschlecht, sexuelle orientierung, ob ihr kunst studiert oder militante kleingärtner seid. ein paar jahre praxis wären von vorteil.

ich bin auf der Suche nach zwei Mitstreitern für ein Power Trio im Stil von 1960s/70s Heavy Blues Rock, Psychedelic, Kraut und Stoner Rock, d.h. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, Blue Cheer, Grandfunk Railroad, Mountain, Earthless, Kikagaku Moyo, Radio Moscow, Wooden Shjips und Colour Haze.
Es gibt die Möglichkeit was komplett Neues zu starten oder ein bereits bestehendes Projekt weiterzuführen. Hier gibt es bereits eine veröffentlichte Platte, mehrere Kontakte für Gigs und viele neue Songideen für ein neues Album. Ich suche Leute, die wirklich Zeit und Energie investieren wollen, um zusammen Songs zu entwickeln, Gigs zu spielen und Touren zu organisieren. Die Musik sollte also nicht nur bloßes Hobby sein, ich bin selbst aber auch berufstätig und versuche beides unter einen Hut zu bekommen. Wenn du Bock hast zusammen die Amps und Kessel zum Kochen zu bringen, dann melde dich gerne per Mail. Im Anhang gibt’s die Platte damit ihr einen Eindruck von mir bekommt und eine Playlist mit Songs, die ich sehr geil finde!

hope you made it through the covid-lockdown-madness – our band setup sadly hasn’t, so now we’re looking for a passionate drummer again :)
At the moment we are guit/bass (m, 21) and guit/vocals (m, 28) – both experienced and passionate musicians, writing songs that are somewhat Blues, Garage, Indie Rock and a little Surf.
We’ve gathered some material already pre-corona and wanted to start recording demos asap –

Diese Band fängt bei Null an und ist erstmal sicherlich wie ein Hobby. Von mir aus kann sie gerne mehr werden, doch natürlich kann man nicht immer alles vorher planen… Ich suche also Leute, die Lust haben, was Eigenes aufzubauen. Es gibt vieles, was ich jetzt auch noch nicht wissen kann, wir müssen erstmal abwarten, wer sich so zusammenfindet. Und sicherlich braucht das Ganze etwas Zeit …
